JW Cash... any insight on what you do when you find yourself with a labby situation like:
X - 5 - 5 - X
5 - 5 - 5 - 5
on a B bet, you lose the B bet and need to split your losses between the top and bottom lines... do you leave the top line with two numbers or do you distribute it as 4 numbers? (my post asking the original question a few posts back gives a better example)
Thanks! :-)

#3399It took me 4 extra days, but I got my win with Memphis. The (-110) system on betting dogs, still has only 4 losses, same as JM buying points system. Difference is, my 4 losses cost me less than 1/2 as much. Dallas tonight lost both ways, Go Nets +6.Comment -

Already proof in the past to why you should buy points. This year is an exception so far, but dont say we didn't warn you down the road. I believe Wilba shared all the statistics, but hopefully it works out for you the rest of the season.
You could probably do a 6 game chase with out buying points and cover... kinda like labby.Comment -

#3411"Dude", thanks for your reply, however I *do* know how a labby usually works; my question was directed to JW Cash because he runs a modified version of the labby, on two lines, for these John Morrison bets; he describes how he does it a few posts back if you are interested. However, he doesn't really say what he does if he finds himself in the situation I asked about. I have an idea what he probably does, but I was hoping to hear it straight from him.

Hey silkbc....
According to your example....if the B Bet lost....
I would distribute 50% of the loss on Line 1 and leave 50% on
Line B....
And I would use ALL 4 number variables.....
Now if I played an A Bet and it won,,,,, Line 1 would look like
x-5-5-x
I would leave the line alone and play the next A Bet on it
If THAT A Bet would win...the line would look like
x-x-x-x
So you would start it again at
5-5-5-5
Or increase it if you hit your profit target...
But when I have to re-distribute a loss....I do use
all 4 numbers...
Hope this helps....Comment -

#3414I am thinking I ' ll bet the Nets for the B bet. Their next game is @ LA against LAKERS. But if the bookers give a good spread I think The Nets will cover. I also think that the Nets are A GOOD TEAM (I am LAKERS' fun ) and when a good team loses such a stupid way then their proud will be hurt. And I think they' ll chase the game with LAKERS.Comment -

#3419I can confirm the 'official' play is a C bet. Sac looking incredibly attractive to me tonight, I'm gonna play them hard. I've watched a couple of their recent games, esp vs Denver, and I believe they are a lot better than their W/L record would suggest.
This one is as close to aas any bet ever is IMO.
NHL crusher play also.
GL today everyone, lets make some cha ching!
Sorry but the moment you put thesymbol up you cruse the play. Denver and Boston are on two different levels. Sac to me was scary since they had covered two straight on the road. Playing them was actually going against the reverse JM play on a C bet.

#3420Why would Dallas be a B bet when Dirk was out? Doens't that nullify the series?Comment -

You could probably do a 6 game chase with out buying points and cover... kinda like labby.
If a 5 year backtest showing a huge unit differential between the two methods isn't enough proof, I don't know what is. Oh well, long term he will get burnt, and like you said we did our best to warn him + provided stats proving why it doesn't work. The points only need to matter in 4/100 series for buying the points to be more profitable so for there to be 40-60 or so series where it didn't matter is not unusual at all..
Hope your luck holds up for a little longerComment
