stay off the bucks. injury filter once again. jennings, also maggette. both combined for 46 pts the last time they played the lakers. Delfino also off the lineup. Bogut is matched up well.

TPS should be Bucks line is at +12 and ML is at +750
To qualify for TPS you need +9 or better and +500 or better.
There for they qualify.
Buy 3pts so tripple play system will be at +15

jm,
any numbers to go along with the TPS? thanks in advance.
Not arguing against the injury filter that JM put in place because with Nash earlier this year it did have an effect, but if you're doing a labby screw filters.....

THE INJURED PLAYER FILTER IS FLAWED.
Why do I write this?
Steve Nash (Phoenix) rated #38 in the NBA efficiency list (as Pho best player) at was injured and given prominence by JFM who then chose to dodge a B and C bet because of Nash's injury. This was in accordance with Morrison's system. The link I've just given is in the system pdf as the place to find out who the best player is on a team.
Brandon Jennings (Mil) rated #35 in the NBA effiency list (as Mil best player) was injured last night. This was well known (in the USA BB media) ahead of the game and Mil was about to play a top team. JFM chose not to inform us in his e-mail that Mil (as an A Bet) should not have been a play due to the injury. I had already placed my bet before I found out about the injury. We now know that Mil went on to win that game.
If you apply the filter you cannot lose the bet because you didn't place the bet. I know that sounds obvious, but the system stats "winning percentage" remains unchanged.
If you don't apply the filter and the bet loses, JFM will say he told you so and the system stats will remain unchanged.
If you don't apply the filter and the bet wins, you will get this trash talk from JFM:
Way to go [merged name] on picking up a gigantic winner in the biggest upset of the NBA season! Who would have ever thought that Milwaukee, one of the worst teams on the road, could compete against the Lakers, defending NBA champions and arguably the best team in the NBA playing on their home court -- let alone absolutely blowing them out by an embarrassing 19-point margin!
How exactly does it happen? It's just the magic of the betting system in play [merged name] ! The NBA system is so startlingly accurate that there have been seasons where we go undefeated the entire year without EVER having to place a single [C] bet!
John F***ing Morrison remains a rooster of the first order.
The injury filter is trash.
The spread accounts for the player injuries and the team ranking. I recommend to all betters to ignore these filters and place your bets at the last moment, so that any late injuries are accounted for.
Have a good day.

Actually, I thought the statistic to use to determine the best player on a team was efficiency. If so, Jennings is not the best player. Bogut is.
And Morrison ignoring his own filters is nothing new. If he ignores an injury filter, he will call it up if the C bet loses and remove that bet from his record. Typical Morrison BS.
There were two injury filters this season so far. One of them resulted in a "C" loss (Phoenix), and the other resulted in a "C" win (Denver). Typically, Morrison ignored the Phoenix loss as a non-bet but counted the Denver win.
There has been a lot of debate about the filters. In the past, it's typical to have two C losses in a season ignoring the filters. I don't know what the record is with the filters since it's hard to find injury data or ML odds for past years.
I will say that if you're buying the 3 points, betting all the games, and have two C losses per season, it's going to be hard to make money with this system, and any money you do make with it will be small. As Wilba posted earlier, you're better off ignoring the "A" bets and making only "B" and "C" bets, or even only "C" bets.

I'm not an analyst of NBA and I don't know anything about these guys. What I can tell you, though, is that Bogut is listed as #78 on the efficiency list (Jennings is #34 today) used by Morrison. That makes Jennings their most efficient player. I did check the data before I posted it.

I am using this filter "No play - when a good player is missing". Bogut & Jenings are both valuable for Milwaukee. Sometimes I play the system when someone is missing and sometimes not. It depends which team and who is not playing.

So I just huffed and puffed through 75 pages of forum. I decided to read all post before posting anything as I found out that some people don't. (probably would have reduced number of pages to about 50 or so.) All in all good info. There are a few posters that have posted some great insight and it is much appreciated. I am going to jump in on this but with a small bankroll for now. From what I comprehended...
1. BR managment is paramount
2. Always buy the points
3. Ignore injury filters
4. Start with B bets instead of A
5. Accept a losing series and move on
Anything I missed???
Thanks in advance for any responses!

well done Kev, Im glad to see some others are having the wool now pulled from their eyes with these BS filters that cock put in to protect his 'perfect' record.
Atari and some others keep posting 'dont play this, coz they have players out'
I have been saying since day 1, you think the books dont understand how to adjust a line to compensate for a payer being out injured!? the books would be in big trouble if they did not understand how to move lines in this circumstance. Seriously.
The system revolves around 1 key thing and only one - when teams go on a road trip they do not want to go home with their tail between their legs after 3 straight games of getting whupped on. So if they get whupped on once (A) or twice (B) they have added motivation to do better in the next games. In my head, the reason why the full cross conference system (V1) has performed better than others over the long term is because teams would hate even more to get whupped on a whole road trip to the other conference, east/west bragging rights and so forth. So when an east team plays west road trip, they sure as hell dont wanna go home after getting blown out 3 x in a row
Player injuries have zilch to do with player/team motivation!

each person is different in how they like to play the system, but personally, I think the way you have outlined above is a perfect way to play this system. I am confident that if you pay it that way, you will never have a losing year.
#1 on your list is by far the most important thing, and is where so many people get tripped up with this system. As for me, with V1 bets, I would play to win 3 % of roll if paying from B, or 1% of roll playing from A. Both of these ways, you end up risking a tad over 20% of your roll per series, which is just about as high as you should go.
Again this is only personal preference, and there are people who disagree with what I am about to say, but I play V1/2/3 with the following weightings:
V1: Play to win 4 (weighted) unit
V2: Play to win 3 (weighted) unit
V3: Play to win 2 (weighted) unit
some people say you should play all for exactly the same amount etc, but the track records over a decade for me, give proof that V1 is the most reliable, and V3 the least. This will vary from year to year, but in terms of long term productivity, I find you cant argue with records!

Hi Andy,
I've just checked your link and you are correct. However, could I ask you to click on the link in my post (#2613) at 1119 yesterday. As you said, it takes you to the scoring standings. I did notice that when I first went to that page. So, I clicked on the "efficiency" option in the menu and the page then changed to "efficiency". Now that I know that the efficiency list from your link is different to mine, I looked closer and it appears that when clicking "efficiency" on the menu, all that happens is a title change. The web site duped me. At the core, its Morrison's fault because my link is a copy of his link and he incorrectly takes us to the scoring standings, which is not where we should go, and we cannot then navigate to the correct page, making me look like an idiot, but more importantly, the list is named "efficiency" but its not correct.

V1 20-2
V2 9-1
V3 24-1
These are all assuming starting at bet A and one of the V1 losses was an abort due to the Nash injury I believe.
Are these correct?
Thanks for any help.
