I know. I posted it at 4:00 A.M. when I got in last night, in case I wasn't up. But for some freakin' reason it wasn't on here when I woke up. Ya know, i had a similar problem a few days ago. The site was acting very weird. I posted, then sometimes when i refreshed the page my post wasnt there, then other times it would be there. Very strange.

I know youre very reliable with your posts, thats why i was surprised to see the late play. But it worked out for us anyways. Better to be lucky than good sometimes.

The JM MLB system is nothing like the NBA road system.
Almost every series against another team is 2,3,4 games.
It has to do with getting a revenge on a team that swept you in
a previous series.
Like if yankees sweep Indians next time the play you bet Indians to win a game
in the series. There is more to it just search for the JM MLB pdf system and you'll find it.

Perhaps you should go back to wherever you were before, wiseass. I may not have been here as long, but from your statements, I know I am much more knowledgable than you. For starters, JM MLB is based on playing a team in a three game chase after having been swept in their last meeting with same team. Unless you are some theological god, which you may think you are, no one can predict who will be swept in their first series, so no such schedule is possible. I had a long enough ride with Golden State in three systems this week, I am happy to see them go. I'm out.

I laid off LA Lakers today because if they lost the payout for the next 2 would not have justified going on, even though they will not lose 3 in a row. I would have most likely waited for another teams B and just cannibalized the bet. BUT I'm writing about Golden State. I laid off them as well seeing what would happen. With about 40 seconds left in the fourth I was regretting not taking a small A bet on them. Then they fell behind by 3 with seconds left and I felt I REALLY should have taken the bet. Then those idiots tied it and managed to lose by 8 points! The spread was +7.5 GSW- so in my world I would have lost because I don't buy points so I am glad I laid off BUT in JM official world it was a win.

This is the third time I've mentioned this BUT is anyone following JM MLB V1, V2, and V3- I'm done asking about results concerning v2 and v3 (which are increasing the A bet and betting on the B and C against the A winner)- I use a very disciplined RPI and also some other indicators that kept me from losing that one last year. I am working on an excel spreadsheet with the games on it allowing me to plug in w and L as the season goes along. I do not have time to maintain a thread but is anyone going to create a MLB thread?- I find these somewhat useful. I'd be happy to include my info including the actual system.

i don't get what you think you have to do to maintain an MLB thread. dvb02 started this NBA thread and he hasn't had to do any maintenance at all, we don't even know if he exists anymore.
We're all here, we all follow the JM systems and we'll all contribute to whomever decides to press the green new thread button. All MLB strategies regarding chase betting or labby lines will be beneficial to all members of this thread. Baseball is a killer for me since there's nothing else to bet on over the summer (tennis? golf?) and money management becomes even more important.

anyways, honeyeater and everyone else. Let's look forward to carrying our positive bankrolls over and making it grow further throughout the summer.

Actually, he shouldn't count it as a win, he says to only play the first three. Here is a clip from the .pdf:

Handling road trips that start in-conference
I recommend that you only start betting on a series if the team’s consecutive 3-game road trip begins immediately after their home game. This also means that if a team is on a 6-game road trip vs. 6 opponents from the opposing conference, then you should only wager on the first 3 games (assuming that they played a home game immediately before starting the road trip).
Now, an exception would be that if a team has been playing road game(s) within their own conference before they start 3 consecutive games vs. 3 opponents from the opposing conference, then you should only treat the 3-game series vs. the opposing conference as eligible for play ONLY if that team has lost ALL of its road games from the beginning of the road trip by more than 3 points against the spread.


I don't know what the backtesting on playing the last three games shows, maybe someone did that before, might be good to know. But until I do that, I will lay off the back end of road trips as the rules state. Good luck

Probably someone gonna make a thread for the JM MLB SYSTEM 2011. But first of all a team has to be swept by one team. For the team that was swept (winless in those series), we mark the schedule for their upcoming series versus the same team that swept them previously. Play ML for favorite, and RL (+1,5) for underdogs. Also remember the RPI. GL ALL

There are some key players out for Charlotte (Stephen Jackson) and Orlando (Dwight Howard - suspension) would explain why the lines opened lower than they should be and moving in favor of the JM plays. Doesn't usually happen like this and hopefully doesn't hurt us too much tonight, good luck all.
