Shaq will come back in shape.

Doc is a much better coach than Mike Brown and will know how to use Shaquille.

At first I hated it but this is a good move.

I don't think this move takes them over the top, but if Shaq buys into playing a limited role, it's a great move for Boston. Considering the available players they could have signed for that price, they scored. It gives them another guy who can bang with the big boys, albeit, for only about 20 minutes a game. Boston's defense is still the key to their success, but last year, their offense bailed on them. Shaq should be able to help alleviate times when they need to get easier scoring opportunities when their offense stalls in the half court. Nice pick up...

Shaq played very well against Boston in the playoffs. He is still capable of contributing
in some areas which happen to be areas the Celtics can use. Chances of Sheed coming back are low
and Perkins is out for at least half the year.
Shaquille is still effective in the paint and hard to deny when hooking or dunking.
Boston is expert at the passing game. He's another offensive option which fits and I am looking forward to seeing him get some quality time with Garnett on the floor together.

there are not too many players that can come to a team and make the difference.. however celtics are great but we lacked in rebounds and big post play soo that can be a great difference to give us second chance points and get more points in the paint and on the post sooo he is not going to be the difference maker but he will make a difference in a positive way

Shaq is just too old to play now. But he still has that presence in him. His size will help any nba team out there. It's a matter of if he can run the whole season.
