picking up blake was solid. you cant improve much when you have a roster like the lakers. getting rid of farmar and powell and getting blake and barnes ( 2 guys who are way better) is good work.

Blake is not way better than Farmer. Farmer is a lot younger and if he had decent playing time, he could play a significant role. Barnes is a solid pick, but some of the people on this board on overreacting to his actual skill. He's not a great player, he's a decent role player. That's it. The Lakers offseason so far has been "average" and maybe that's because a championship team doesn't need much. Fair enough. But the reality is, the Lakers offseason acqusitions are not nearly as dramatic as some of the people on this board make it out to be...

he may not be super skilled, but his energy and competitive spark wakes up the whole team.... i don't like this at all.. he makes Lakers better
