I don't think the Heat will beat this record of 72 wins in a regular season. When the Bulls did it years ago it was a completely different league and our time and age I don't think its possible to lose only 9 games all years. With all the travelling and injuries during the season losing only 9 games seems impossible.

Teams playing together for the first time will not win 70+, they will be good, don't get me wrong, hell they might even win it all, but I am saying 62 wins and that is if there are no injuries to Wade or LeBron long term, if one missed a month or more make it 54 wins.

The heat will definitely not win a 73 in the next two years but it is possible in the future, and even likely. NBA is condensing, wait till the FA roundtable next year, be even less talent to go around.

I have to agree, I mean the Cavs had two strong seasons, they even had a great home record but they could not get it done at home in the playoffs.


As far as the thread goes, I don't know if we will ever seen that Bulls record broke, true that was a strong 3 for the bulls. But they also had a great bench & all around team.
