They won't try after they have first place locked in for the last twenty games.

The Bulls will beat them this year in the regular season, and hopefully in the playoffs as well.. What up?

Heat are getting Big Z and Juwan Howard, that's solid enough at center. They may very well win 73 games.

Also, people forget that the Cavs won 66 games two years ago (basically 67 - they didn't play the starters in the last game) with much much less talent.

No they will not because LJ will not give his best in last games as usual, and maybe trainer will rest him or Wade in last games.

i think there is a legit shot at it. it is definitely not out the question. the east is very weak. best team after heat is the magics. celtics are another year older. cavs arent anything without lebron. besides hawks bulls and nyks dont see much else for competition

I hereby decree that every star player has to have his contract voided immediately and MUST play for Miami Heat. Their salary cap is extended to 300 million. All other teams remain the same. We must ensure that every single star player go to Miami no matter how many other teams have to fold up. We have to ensure that the KING wins a title next year!!!!!!!!!!!

Dwayne Wade is going to go down early with a season ending injury and Chris Bosh is going to be plagued with various smaller injuries and Miami will finish the 2010-2011 NBA season with a very disappointing record of 47-35 barely making it into the NBA playoffs as a #6 seed.

The lack of any depth beyond the big 3 will lead to Miami being eliminated in the very 1st round by the Milwaukee Bucks.

I think the O/U would be better set at 67 or something like that... take the under for 73 games as the way the game is played nowadays off nights are taken and if they have first in the East wrapped up they won't play 100% down the stretch.

it could happen, the next couple years they will definitely be flirting around the upper 60's, i think one of those seasons they will reach 73 or a least 72

In my opinion, nowadays is very hard to reach 72 or 73 wins in regular season, because of high competition between the clubs. I believe in this decade this result will not be exceed.

You guys have to remember though, Wade and LBJ are the type of players who use a lot of their energy during regular seasons though. There's a reason why Cleveland was the best team in regular season and choked in the playoff.
