How sick is that lineup when you have 2 future HOF's batting 6th and 7th.

Seriously are you not shocked Atlanta beat them? I am a life long Braves fan but I thought we were in over our head.
I actually did think the Braves would win because of the sick pitching rotation they had that year along with a good batting lineup too

Well, you were right. I saw Atlanta as being a little better in pitching, but Cleveland being a lot better hitting.

Of course winning games 1-0 some luck is involved there.

Fellas, any of you know this goon? Al Capone frequently visited C-town for a meal you piece of crap.

Don't think so buddy. The Astros were the best team in baseball in 94 and Bagwell was the best player.

Just curious becaue I was only 16 yrs old in 95 what was the series price of these 2 teams. I imagine Cleveland was at least -170 - -250 to win the series.

Mac, I know you were old enough to bet the series.. Did you bet any games?
Yeah, I bet the series back then. I can't remember the exact price but I want to say it was closer, like -140. My head was telling me Atlanta's pitching was going to be the difference but my heart kept thinking we were destined

I've lost a lot of money betting on Cleveland sports. The Cav's year before last really made up for it though. They were a covering machine that year and I hammeredem

No other sports town has endured more misery than C-town has in modern day sports

Atlanta- Braves 95 champs and at least have a Superbowl appearance- not to mention Braves with so many Division banners Bobby Cox can't even count.

Baltimore- Of course the old Browns win it all 5 years after the move!

Boston- Gosh probably the most successful in all 3 major sports combined

Chicago= MJ ****** (* represents rings)- also white sox curse lifted recently.

Cincinnati- 90 reds and at least a Superbowl appearance.

Dallas- Ever hear of the Cowboys anyone???

                      Denver- John fuckin Elway

Detroit- Pistons Nba champs multiple times

Houston- Thanks to Jordan you all got 2 rings mid 90's

Indiana- Peyton at least won one big one for you all.

L.A- Lakers- need I say more? Oh they got the halos too.

Miami- Marlins took one from us and Heat took one from Dallas

Milwaukee- Its nice you guys are able to at least claim the Packers

Minnesota- Good ol twins of 87 and 91

New Orleans- Congrats on a great superbowl win this past year

                      New York- Yankees
Philadelphia- Phillies snuck one in for you guys.

Phoenix- Diamondbacks of 02 and the Cards made a trip to the promised land

                      Pittspuke- Dam Stillers!

                      San Antonio- Great run Spurs!

San Diego and Seattle At least got to a Superbowl

San Fran- Gotta love what the 49ers accomplished

St. Louis- Rams and Cards cashing in recently
