#37why can they review who the ball went off of but they cant review if the ball hits the rim. It clearly didnt hit the rim on that one angle. That was a huge swing."This is why my basketball intelligence is unmatched on this site. #40Kobe doesnt trust his team, AND THEY KNOW IT. They are afraid to shoot. MJ made his players have confidence. Thats why Paxson and Kerr hit big clutch shots."This is why my basketball intelligence is unmatched on this site. #42I feel you paco. But Lakers had many chances. Lots of missed free throws and open jumpers. Kobe double clutching every fukin shot from the perimeter with 4 hands in his face. No trust in his team mates. Artest the retard getting the ball a few times with the shot clock at around 6 seconds (WTF!!!).
Lakers are in trouble now. C's got a lot of confidence heading into LA. Can Kobe win 2 in a row to win the championship?Comment -

#44I still think the Lakers will win their 2 games at home unless they completely lay down. Not a fan of either team but I truly detest Boston Celtics. I think they are the whiniest bunch of thugs and are far from being gracious losers or winners. The way they carry on on the court or sidelines makes me nauseated. None of them has ever commited a foul in their lives and the only way they ever lose is if the refs take it from them. At least that's the way they act. Can Kevin Garnett ever make a play without thumping his chest several times and can he utter just one sentence on the court that doesn't have the "F" word in it. It's impossible to want to like athletes like him or any of those other screamers and chest thumpers.
Even if Boston manages to win the title it will never by any of those guys CLASS. My favorite athlete has always been Cal Ripken, Jr. Now there was a class act. He had more class and dignity in his fingernail than the whole Celtic team put together.
For the record, I had Celtics on the ML tonight.Comment -

you laker fans are just like KOBE and PAU, complete crybabies. You go to the free throw line twice as many times as the other team in 2 of the games you lost and still you complain that the refs screwed you. Grow a sac and and just admit that the team that was hungrier won the game.
Why don't we hear anyone saying that that one handed touch foul on ray allen that let Kobe have 3 freebies when they were down 7 with 90 seconds left was BS? it doesn't benefit your whining that's why.
So if the Lakers defend home court, like they are SUPPOSED to do, they win. It is as simple as that. Then you can have your riots and looting just like you want.Comment -

#54Paco Boston did not get to the line at all, 13 foul shots most of those were in the final minute or so. For a game in Boston seemed like LA got a lot of calls.Comment -

#57I feel you if you lost money on LA but don't fool yourself trying to blame the refs. LA lost because everyone except Kobe played like shit.
If you take Kobe out the rest of the Lakers were 18-51 35% from the floor, 3-9 33% from 3, and 9-17 53% from the line. I don't care how good he is, if the rest of the team plays like that they can't win.
The Lakers took 97 shots and 26 free-throws, Boston only took 83 shots and 13 (that's half as many) free-throws. 22 personal fouls for LA and 23 for Boston. 1 technical called on LA and 2 on Boston.
How the **** do you dare to say that game was rigged? There were bad calls both ways just like in every game, how come none of the LA homers mention the 3 "free" free-throws Kobe got with 1:30 left in the game?
Oh, and by the way, that ball did touch the rim, it was obvious even without replay but there was a camera angle (the one when the ball is coming towards the camera) that seemed like it didn't. Either the perpendicular angle or the one from behind the shooter show it clearly.Comment -

But there is money to be made so gotta watch. LOL. There are a few good guys out there though. I like Derrick Rose because when he makes a great play he just runs back on defense. His teammates may jump on him celebrating but he just takes it all in stride. He rarely complains at all to the refs even when he gets hammered which is alot.(Dwight Howard) Probably explains why he doesn't get alot of calls.Comment -

I agree. It did look like it barely grazed the rim. But replay showed it. Don't believe the ref could really see it with the naked eye. They have to call it one way or the other on the spot. Sometimes I think they see what they want to see.
Only way the game is rigged is if someone paid Odom, Artest and Gasol to all suck tonight.Comment -
