i have to say it was 2nd hand info that i heard on that radio. some joker on sportsradio (not a caller) said TD predicted a laker win and gave a quick reason why he said it that is was going to be an outright win by the lakers and not just a cover, the entire breakdown was about 30 seconds.............

Possibly the game will be reffed fairly neutral but calls win not favor LA in that building.

His blueprint, as I understand, predicts that refs will not lean on Celtics. Since Kobe wasn't getting star treatment on game 2, he is due for some on game 3. Whether Lakers will win is anybody's guess.

Tim Donaghy is expecting the officiating to play a big role in the outcome of the Celtics Lakers game tonight.

He was an NBA referee for thirteen years and knows the system and culture of refereeing...and he seems to be the only one seeing things clearly right now.

When asked about the three officials chosen to officiate game 3 tonight (Dan Crawford, Bill Kennedy and Bennett Salvatore), he told WEEI “I think it brings some aggressive refereeing to get some of these illegal screens and some of this matchup trouble cleaned up with some aggressive whistles.”

He also said, "I don't think you're going to see him [Kobe Bryant] in foul trouble again for a long, long time.”

This is disgusting. To think that teams will change their approach to a game based on which officials are calling the game is a disgrace. The NBA should be embarrassed.

Yeah, if Donaghy was such a smart @ss he wouldn't be broke and owing money to his local bookie. His opinions are really not that different than the folks you see on ESPN.

That being said, I really like the Under and leaning Boston. Win or lose, chase it back the next day. No biggie!

Donaghy is a fraud.

How did the refs put Kobe in foul trouble in the first place? According to Donaghy that should never happen. Not only did they whistle Kobe for 5, but the 3rd and 4th fouls were clearly not fouls.

The officiating is just bad. It's not fixed. Donaghy is an attention whore.

If the dude had a clue, he wouldn't be broke screaming for attention. He'd be making millions off sportsbooks. Clearly, he is unable to do that, despite his proclaimed superior knowledge.
