Again though... 2004? Only 3 players from that team are still on the Lakers... "Facts" aren't always relevant. Maybe the Pistons were just the better team and would have won the series regardless of the Lakers defending homecourt?

I don't get it. Boston's just won on the road and half the forum has already spent the money from their Boston to win the series futures. They're now heading home for 3 games but yet no one wants to take the bet? And LB's lowered the juice which in my opinion puts anyone taking him up on his offer at an advantage with those odds. But not one Boston fanatic believes they can win 2 at home? That's pretty telling in my opinion.

As an early starter my price for Boston backers is -350 at least. So if you take Boston to win 2 games ( out of 3 at home)you have to take -350 at least.

If you read the entire thread you would know that the number has been generously changed to a -250 which is a fair # considering all the supposed Celtics backers coming in talking but doing nothing.

the reason no Celtic backers are taking it is we we want more than a -250 payout - like a Celtics series bet or a straight-up game, so the payout isn't there. It's more of an insurance bet where Celtics could still lose series and this would pay. Because I think we all realize they need to

The original listed price might have been a little bit steep, but it was close to where it should be. I valued it at around -300 which may not be the most appealing odds to bet on, but that doesn't mean the price isn't fair...
