There have only been 1-2 fixes the entire playoffs. And if you think I can't spot a fix think again. This information in this thread is irrelevant to me. If anything, this idiot calling LA game 6 after his little "hot streak" would make me lean towards PHX. Stern isn't going to make him look like a genius. PHX is a better team and they'll win at home, no help from the refs needed.

Goat, i agree with you. This year there has not been as many fixed games this year and i think that is because of Donaghy. Before hos book came out an he was caught there were many more fixes.

Me being on the lakers has nothing to do with donaghy and his opinion, but it does help. I said last night that i was on the lakers far before this thread was created. It does help ease the mind though.

No, Snow, the one I paid $23.58 for is a paperback. And so, I believe, were the ones listed for $60 and over. To clear up any confusion, these are "new" copies of the original December '09 release I'm referring to. I have to believe their high cost is because people want inside info that may be redacted in the latest version from a new publisher.

I indeed am at the moment. My best friend is in labour and her husband's posting updates! Reading all of his stuff is a good way to pass the time while waiting for notifications to pop up. Much more interesting than the random drivel I usually find on here.

Everyone that joins that site is addicted big time the first week. I remember when I was on there the first day looking for ex girlfriends and class mates.......6 hours straight with no eye break on the screen.

I joined 5 NBA players pages but had many of my comments taken off (mostly because I think I was white)........lol

Yeah, the random ex search got me too when I first joined. Now it's just a way to keep up with people back home. But his page has definitely been a great way to fill time between waiting to hear from my friends and tennis matches.

That company was formed on December 3rd of '09, which leads me to believe the company was formed with the specific purpose of publishing this book. The new publisher is called "Four Daughters", which again sounds like a personal publisher, not a mainstream house that might not want to mix it up with the NBA, Mark Cuban, et. al. in lawsuits. So I'm guessing the high price on the first version is either because it's now become a collector's item or it has dicey info that's been deleted from the second version or both.

I found it Shari ! wasn't doubting you, just thought it may have been the deleted comment. As you know it wasn't in his comment section, but in his replies to other FB accounts. That's where he lets his guard down perhaps.

Ryan Laney Tim, what do you think the chances are of the Suns/Lakers series reaching 7 games? I'm leaning towards it ending in 6, but I suppose it all depends on if the Lakers' big men get in "foul trouble" early in the game.

ok, i don't have the book. All i can say is i've listened to his appearances on Celtics Late Night and they and Tim are always referring to it as a hardcover.

As I mentioned to Snow, there is no hardcover version of this book. The original paperback (released in December '09) has a full picture of Donaghy on the cover. The new paperback (due out now; need to pre-order on Amazon) has a picture of a basketball with a smaller boxed picture of Donaghy. Can't say about any content changing. If anyone has a hardcopy of the book, please correct me. It would seem this is why Donaghy is in public eye so much now -- promoting the new publication. And what better way to do it --especially for us gaming enthusiasts -- than calling 87% of the games correctly.

Sunde i was thinking the very same thing.. now, that foul was legit.. but it EASILY could not have been called also... so there we are.. another winning Donaghy bet. I can't see him calling a winner in the finals, but we should all get his book and apply it to our capping next season.
