And then if the Cavs do lose in the playoffs he will most likely leave the city of Cleveland without a ring for himself and a championship for the city. If this does happen, this is what Lebron will be remembered for. Thats why this series is so critical for him. I sure hope he gets it done! Im tired of all this damn losing in Cleveland!!!! Go Cavs!
    I agree totally!

Lebron Wade Kobe would beat MJ Bird Magic. MJ and any other 2 you want to name. Lebron and Wade are beasts, they're faster and stronger at their position than any player in the past. 3 on 3 is about strength, speed, and 1 on 1 game. Magic and Bird weren't 1 on 1 ballers, neither was Reggie Miller he just came off screens.

        Lyon,

Bron doesn't care about contract money because the money he makes from endorsements shits on that contract money. He's going to go next year whereever he has the best chance to win a ring. He doesn't care about money anymore. Lebron will win at least 2 rings, I don't even want him to win 1 though.

Not entirely factual. This aint And 1, bruh. 3-3 includes some 1 on 1 game but the basics are about half-court fundamentals and basketball IQ. There are no fast breasks, no break-away highlight dunks. You run ball screens, pick and pops, post and kick-outs. That's my 3. AIR, Reggie who was one of the best clutch, spot up shooters on the planet, and a low post beast in the Rain Man. And that's just off the top of my head, but I could give a hundred and one examples of some key matchups that these youngsters cannot even begin to touch. And against Magic, MJ, and Bird...they just might get skunked.

But I do admire the passion of all three of the new school. And they are heads above any right now that are out there doing it.

Really man...? Really? Did you seriously just continue that debate? These are the types of discussions I had in elementary. Grow up man.

I'm really getting sick of these type of comparisons, specifically Jordan to Lebron/Kobe. You guys have to understand, the league is much different now than it was in the 90's. So much that, IMO, comparisons shouldn't even be made on a player to player basis. There are two major things that I find people overlook when these debates start.

The first being the level of athleticism. Players are much stronger and faster now. If someone with a physique like Kevin McHale played in the NBA today, he would be ridiculed. Yet in his time, he was considered by many to have an "ideal" physique for his position. This is just one of many examples.

The second? The rules have changed. A lot of tweaks have been made to make the game more exciting, which is why I consider Jordan's feats in the NBA much more impressive than any NBA player. The league banned hand-checking in 01-02, but in 05-06 they made it MUCH more strict. Is it any coincidence that Kobe's scoring average shot up 8 points the year they made this change? It is a "fact" that the game favors perimeter players now. Am I complaining about it? Heck no. I find the game much more exciting to watch because of the rule change. But the fact remains that the NBA has changed. Because of this, I feel Jordan debates should stop. Let it be settled that Jordan is the greatest player of the 90's, that Kobe is the greatest player of the 2000's, and that Lebron will soon be the greatest player of the 2010's.

in my opinion... by the time lebron retires, i think he will STATISTICALLY be the best player ever!!! He won't have the impact that jordan had on the game but his numbers will be eye popping... and he's playing with B-C listers at that... wait until he gets a legitimate 2nd option to play with... Joe Johnson would be perfect

The league? No, not the league. What NBA player has ever initiated a debate where Kobe and Lebron were compared to Jordan? In interviews, players have been asked, yes. But the answer is always the same. They say great things about one player, and then say great things about the other. Why? Because it's childish to even humor people by engaging in the topic. Think back to when Kobe was asked about Jordan.

"Come on man, leave it alone man... GOD!"

Players are sick of it. And nobody will ever quote themselves as being better than Jordan. Nobody. And by the way, that lunchables splattered on the wall comment was dumb. Again, grow up.

Exactly. He averaged nearly 30 points a game for several seasons during a time where players were VERY physical with one another. He worked harder for his 30 than anyone.

Not Kobe, not Durant, not D will, not Dwight. It will run through Lebron and Wade.
Putting Dwayne Wade in the same category as Bryant or James is laughable.

Clearly, this GoatMilk is a huge DWade fan and his extreme bias towards him is telling.

So close with my prediction, he would have had it if he played the full 4th quarter.
