#211You think Amare is more important to the Suns than Steve Nash? I disagreed with the guy's back to back MVPs, but you can't be serious with that.Comment -

#212I agree. If you put Amare on a team where the offensive had to run through him (like Bosh has to do) he wouldn't be nearly as successful.Originally posted by tealishYou think Amare is more important to the Suns than Steve Nash? #213He's more important because Nash needs a Dynamic PF like Amare that can attack the rim and hit the jump shot off the pick and roll. Amare doesn't need Nash because he knows how to play iso ball, whereas Nash cannot. Nash will always just be a great pg that had 2 of the greatest (when all is said and done) PFs on his teams.Originally posted by tealishYou think Amare is more important to the Suns than Steve Nash? PHX wouldn't make the playoffs without Amare, and they wouldn't make it without Nash. 3 years ago Nash was much more important than Amare, but if you watch the suns this year, Amare is their go to guy in all clutch situations (not involving a 3 point shot), and it takes 2-3 guys in the paint to stop him.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

#214Phoenix's entire offense is structured around Nash's playmaking abilities...He gets the ball to Amare in places where he can take 1-2 steps and be at the rim to finish. Finishing at the basket and a spot up jumper are what Amare's good at. He has no offensive moves in the low block, so taking away a guard like Nash who can find all those lanes, is taking away a huge chunk of Amare's offense. As explosive as he is, he can't create much on his own.
The guy is also non-existent on defense. How can you even attempt to argue that he will be one of the greatest PF's ever.... Offense alone, he likely will never crack the top 5.Comment -

#215The guy is still young, he came from high school and his defense is only getting better. Watch Amare play this year 50% of his plays are iso plays man. He gets the ball at the elbow, faces up, and either knocks down a jumper or drive it to the rim and draws the foul every time or dunks on people. The Suns are using Amare so much more in iso this year Nash is not dominating the ball (although he still does) as much as in years past.Originally posted by tealishPhoenix's entire offense is structured around Nash's playmaking abilities...He gets the ball to Amare in places where he can take 1-2 steps and be at the rim to finish. I agree about Nash he's amazing but think about this: If Nash didn't have a versatile PF like amare to work with in the pick n roll, wouldn't players be able to commit to Nash more and he'd be easier to stop because the guy setting the pick wouldn't really be a liability?Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

#218Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Amare is a piece of sh*t. The Suns may go to Amare more this year than in years past, but they are still fundamentally a run and gun team that relies on a guard like Nash for the pace that he's able to set. I don't have the #'s in front of me, but I'll be willing to bet that an overwhelming majority of the Suns' clutch points (last 2 minutes in a close game, lets say) are either assisted by Nash, or scored by Nash vs an unassisted Amare iso.Originally posted by Goat MilkThe guy is still young, he came from high school and his defense is only getting better. you were reaching when you said tony parker is better than derrik rose and that SA would never trade parker for rose.
and now this. your delusional if you think amare is more important than nash. what did amare do before nash got there?
also chris bosh is better than amare no question and to say that nash played with the 2 greatest power forwards (notwizki and amare? lol) of all time is just insane. Have you ever heard of Tim Duncan and Karl Malone?
i cant respect your opions on basketball after that smhComment -

#231I can't believe I'm entertaining this, but here goes. First, though, I'm going to say I have mad love for the Big German. He's the best PF in the game right now and it's not that close. This is nothing against him, but merely in response to your ridiculous statement.Originally posted by Goat Milkmuch better.
Malone 37000 points, 2nd all-time. Dirk 21,1000
Malone 25 and 10 for his career, including an insane 6 year stretch of 27+ and 11+ (Dirk's BEST PPG year of his career is lower than Malone's WORST in this 6 year span)
Are we really having this conversation?
Malone over 50fg% 12 times in his career, including 7 straight seasons. Dirk's done it once.
Malone 10+ boards in 9 consecutive years. Dirk NOT ONCE. Bagel.
