Ok this is exactly what I am doing today. I originally took Jazz ML -165 to win 7 units risking 11.5 units. The refs heavily favor the road team in this game so I want to hedge a little bit off. This is my plan

Jazz ML -165 LOCKED 11.5 units to win 7

Two Team Parlay for 2 units to win 9 LOCKED
Hawks 1H ML +110
Lakers ML +170

Lakers/Jazz UNDER 202.5 LOCKED 2 units

This way if the Hawks win the 1H which I think will happen I will only be risking 2.5 units on the Jazz to win to 5 units.

I still really like the Jazz ML but I don't want to have almost 12 units on it. My HEAVY bets are 5 units so I want to take the game to win 5 units.

I am hedging Utah halfway doing this, or at least hoping to do so if ATL 1H hits. I will have to make another decision if the Hawks 1H doesn't win

My lossses seriously have a flair for the dramatic. Atlanta TT OVER 97 game 7, Jazz +6.5 game 3, Spurs/Suns UNDER game 3, and Utah Jazz ML tonight. Four out of my last 8 losses by one shot or less.

Celtics should win tomorrow. The last 4 home teams have all lost, I think they pull it off tomorrow. Teams that lose by 20+ in the playoff win the next game 63% of the time.

I don't know about this one. I see both ATL and BOS losing their Gm 4's and both were pierced 30+ in Gm 3. I'm thinking Cav will go hard for the 3-1 stranglehold b/c they dont want a long series with Bron's elbow the way it is. At -1, all we need is a Cavs SU win and I can't get away from playing that.

I told you before the game it should be a close game (and it was more then close); sometimes it is better to buy some points , especially when you have a heavy play. In live betting you could hedge your UTA ML and take LA +8,5; But I made the same mistake yesterday. I had LA in several parlays and should have hedged by taking UTA ML or UTA+1,5 but I didn't. I got tons of luck UTA missed last shot. If I got UTA +1,5 I would have won on both sides.

Today : Bos - Cle : I am leaning to Bos, but maybe I will pass that game

Two things to point out - he bought 4.5 points by taking the ML, so i would say he had bought enough, and he probably knows much more about this than you

So buying an extra point or 1,5 can make some big differences ... especially when you lose by one shot or less.

I just want to help; I also lost many bets by one point in the past; that hurts more then losing by dd or more.

I bet longer then most of you guys, so I know a big loss hurts and when I am 5 or more units on a game and during that game I can pick LA +8,5 I bet half my units, so I am at least break even or win on both sides.
