I watched the spurs play the other night against the Kobe less lakers....they are just down right horrible..a very slow team

I think this game stays closer than most of you Denver backers are thinking. Don't be shocked if the Spurs win this one outright.

Denver wins SU in SA as a 5.5 point dog so why are they only favored by 5.5 at home? The Spurs are still the Spurs. That's why this line isn't bigger imo. The public still likes the spurs most nights so they get respect from the books. Since when did Denver become so high and mighty that everyone should fear them? Yes they are good but they have yet to prove anything. The spurs are in a revenge spot after getting beat down at home by the Nuggs. They are also coming off an embarrassing performance in LA the other night. The spurs are also 2-2 so far on the rodeo trip and they havn't been playing well at all. They need a win going into the all-star break. Pop will have them focused and ready. I wouldn't be surprised if they win the game SU. The problem with the Spurs is that they are so inconsistent it is difficult to bet on them. The point I'm trying to make here is that the line being 5.5 isn't really surprising. When was the last time the Spurs were a 7 or 8 point dog? It just doesn't happen.
