This is the last rebuttal I will make in this thread:

Do you understand why I am making this challenge? It is a way that you guys can make money by tailing Lakerboy, Mexi, and myself in an organized manner. I am not calling him out but just simply trying to make a contest in which you guys can see our picks. Instead of last minute posting of the picks the contest would require us to post the picks an hour or so before the tip-off. I say this because it will give all the followers a chance to put in their wagers rather than missing plays here and there. Take what you want out of this offer but it looks like my challenge by LB won't be taken...

Who says I tail LB? I make my own plays, I am so superstitious I had to shut my thread down cause I had a couple bad days in a row. at one point I was over 60% and close to it when I shut it down. I just see right through you and you are just trying to make a name for yourself on SBR and what better way than to challenge LB and hang tough with him right? Im standing up for the guy cause I respect him which I only respect about 6 or 7 guys on this entire forum.

In all due respect wtf does it matter what time or how close to gametime this man posts his plays? Does it really matter? Not sure i undertand the point here. I think you should have a challenge with YOU versus the books and see who comes out on top. Lakerboy IS THAT GOOD - he has enough validation and people who think so, regardless if you win a 600 points bet or not. He doesn't go out looking for attention or pats on the back - something I think you are attempting here.
1 thing I can guarantee - if you won this bet we'd never hear the end of it. If LB won, we'd never hear about it again unless he were asked about it.

Calling out the "Peoples Champ" infront of a bunch of good folks who have nothing but respect and admitration for such a solid guy is a stupid thing to do in the first place.

In the end, should LB accept your wager, I think all you do is help the legend of Lakerboy grow.

The main point there was...you give links to only your winning threads...even if they are from last season. But you dont give links to your threads which are loosing...even if they are from current season.

The bottom line is...you are like all touts who just show their winning picks but hide their loosing picks.

The only thing he has to lose to you in a challenge is his time. You would have everything to gain because no one knows or cares who you are and you're not making a good case for anyone to do so now. Nobody wants to waiste their time beating you in a challenge keep all your plays in one thread and hit a high percentage or make big units and make a name for yourself that way as opposed to trying to get famous off of someone else. As I posted in another thread

Absolutely not! You can't handicap and find an advantage against the spread in every single NBA game. That is the silliest thing I have ever heard. If someone wants to take me up on it will we follow the rules under Mexi's Point Book thread. We will allowed to bet over/unders, ats, games, halfs, etc...

Jmathes i respect everyone here as well and i would never have done a thread like this. I am going to have to turn you down and if people see that as me being scared then so be it. I know the true purpose behind this and i will just continue making my picks in my thread for folks to use as fade or tail material or whatever other reason they feel. LB is the best handicapper in this forum.....period...anyone who even challenges him is a fool.

I wouldnt say hse the best but hes proven and is a excellent capper.
I dont see why LB has to take this challenge as hes here not to create competition but to make money. End of day we are all on the same side, trying to earn cash.

As inregards to friendly match up's, you couldnt do a simple competition over a few weeks, I think you would have to do it over long terms. LB has +99U with a proven track record, I really cant say much for Jmathis, for all I know he could be some massive guru...as I havent been in SBR like all the other senior vets such as HoulihanTX, but ill take the guy with the proven track record anyday against a guy who comes in asking for challenges.
