How about this guys? We have a 3 way contest between Lakerboy, Mexican Stallion and myself. We each run a 3 month thread and whoever has the highest winning percentage wins. I think that 500 points per poster would be feasible. 1st place gets 80% and 2 place gets 20%. With all the brainwork we put into the thread we split up the points that the posters contribute to us as well. What do you think Lakerboy and Mexican Stallion?

since LB releases his picks for free (gifts for anyone tailing for the season), I think he has the right to decide when he releases them. whether it's 3 minutes before tip or 3 hours, it's his choice and he owes the forum members no explanation to his ideology. period. to call someone out on based on his capping methods or release timeframes is just rude.

I think people are just frustrated (Including Lb) when the server is near crashing because the traffic on the site is all fixed into 5 minutes before tipoff. That being said I agree that he doesn't owe us anything

And who the hell are you?....do you have any proven track record??....why dont you open a thread and post picks for 3 months....if you even manage to make any profit....come back and challenge Lakerboy and Mexican Stallion. Those two are the best cappers in this forum and they have proven it time and time again. They dont have to prove it to you.

Honestly I think what everyone is failing to realize here is that challenges are almost always profitable. You rarely see a serious challenge where either challenger hits under 50%. You just have so many people who don't want to do them because they think losing means that they are a worst capper which is definitely not the case. If two cappers were to take on a challenge and one hit 58% while the other hits 61% then in my book they are both winners. Get a challenge going, anyone, watch how your percentage will go up as you sharpen your plays.

I feel like challenges just aren't worth his time. He's said numerous times that he posts picks at the last minute because he's looking at line movement and whether or not you want to believe him is up to you. But having to play his picks, post his picks, AND doing a challenge probably isn't worth it for something he'll get in a week from his followers (500 pts.)

If you really want to 'see who's better' just make a thread and track both of your units won through the period you want. If you start doing better than LB (or winning the challenge) people will just give you the points anyway, it doesn't need to be for points, and LB doesn't have to do anything, just make your own thread.

Bingo! And the best challenge ever was the NBA challenge last season between CK and Wangichu vs. Sexymit and jgbsox. I think both sides hit over 70% which was amazing, and everyone made a ton of money!

The problem is I do not have the time. I am posting in the sports promotions thread of this site and hitting 60%. It is low key and like it that way! I am thinking about bringing back a thread that I started a while back just for the hell of it but really don't have time to post everyday. I might dig it up and start it again. We will see...

It means LB and Mexi have time to spend for analyzing and posting. This is quite enough for me because it means they work hard for their record. Your picks should be good enough i guess but it's not enough to be an authority. You should post 10k and should have a proven record before you challange them i think. Start a new thread and we tail or fade you.
