#282The winning continues and I am o so close to that 60% mark. 143-98-4 is (59%) is my current total NBA running record. If I can hit one more game I will be at my goal of 60% for the year!Originally posted by sweetjones55140-97-3 is (59%) is my current total NBA running record. #287My gut tells me that is too many points for the Rockets to cover. I could easily see the Hornets going in there and winning. It's a very tough game to cap since you don't know what the effort will be from either team.Originally posted by kobefanaticsweet do you like the rockets -7.5 against hornets?Scared money don't make money

#296Yes Bosh not playing is the primary reason that they like toronto. When a star player is out the value is usually on that team.Originally posted by doctor_on_callwithout bosh?Scared money don't make money

#301Yes you did and thanks so much. don't have many points right now but sent you some. Yea it was cool to get the message from you and believe me i appreciated it. I was with LB and the over in atlanta so I was hurting pretty good yesterday. I went small on the kings cuz I had the big one on atl. Turned around and went big on LAL/LAC becasue of you and got almost all of it back. You saved my ass yesterday. Thanks again for taking the time and sending the message, that was really cool of you.Originally posted by sweetjones55I PM'd both you guys two Over last night that both hit, hope you got them in time. I am glad you got them in time and went big on LAL/LAC. I was actually feeling stronger about that total but they both won so it's all good.Originally posted by fly fisher

#308sj55, i know this is aint your noobs thread but, how do we cap the 1st day of playoffs? there are no betting trends. do we still apply our autobets? lol.
im thinking the keys to these games are the match-ups. with that said, im liking cha over orl. i think cha covers this dd spread.
im also liking phx over por. roy still out, perhaps for the rest of the season. what we discussed for the por/okc game is applicable here.
watcha think?

#310I don't really do anything toooo different for the first game of the playoffs. The one thing I do change a bit in the playoffs is leaning towards more unders, all teams step up their defensive intensity big time.Originally posted by doctor_on_callsj55, i know this is aint your noobs thread but, how do we cap the 1st day of playoffs? there are no betting trends. do we still apply our autobets? lol.

I don't like Charlotte that much. I think Orlando is the best team in the NBA right now. They got a great Bigman, a very good PG, a clutch SF who has hit every big shot I have seen him take (carter), a good backup center (gortat) and great key role players in Rashard Lewis, Matt Barnes, Michael Pietrus, and JJ Redick. This team has it all and I don't think should be betted against ever this playoffs.
I do not like Phoenix. Portland already beat Phoenix with Roy out this year. Star player out theory fully applies. This line is way overinflated because Roy is out. Take Portland or don't bet the gameScared money don't make money

#312lol i got it all in reverse. good point on the unders.
yep i also think orl is the best team in nba. cha sucks on the road, dont they? but they have 4 guys that can rotate to defend the zuperman. and yeah cha got no playoffs experience. but this double digit spread worries me. lol. id jump to it if orl is against phi, njn, nyk, or det.
i really thought the star player theory is only applicable on the 1st game. with roy out por was -2 against okc, -9.5 against gsw, now +7.5 against phx?
cheers for this healthy discussion sj55.
