Downright horrible to have gone 2-6 on my first eight
bets, with all six losses bigger than the two wins. Going
2-1 on substantially bigger bets on the last game of the
night was lucky, saved me from a total wipeout. Going
my max units on three separate wagers on the same
night is not my style, but I would engage my books on
'slugfests' with house money.. sometimes.

A letdown from yesterday's book-busting record, but I won the bets that
mattered to make today a profitable one even with just a .500 record. My
