I agree with your point of not quitting your day job but Dex im telling you more people make less than 2800 every fortnight than the other way around. I have businesses that i put time and effort into for years and live off the profits now and spend very little time in anymore. Anyways gambling is like the stock market if you know to work it. My wife is an Registered nurse and i keep telling her to retire now cause she doesnt have to work but she loves her career and you cant beat that being happy with work. I love gambling and i dont find it stressful rather enjoyable betting on games people are actaully paying to watch while im getting paid to watch.

Kind of like how I look at it . Its good your wife likes to work Im kind of the same way with my fiance but she loves working and she wants to go back to do her major. Being happy at work reminds of that saying "They say if you love doing what you do, you'll never have to work another day in your life" or something like that.

I know a guy at work who was 1/3 of a book when he was younger and said he found it best to go do other things then watch his games he bet on or took a bet on. And it made his life a lot less stressful. And Im getting broker by the day. Maybe that has something to do with it

The bottom line is your bringing the stress on yourself. Don't let the gambling control your life, just integrate it into your life. For example, if your going to go out or take your kids out, or do anyhting, don't delay or skip that just because the game is still on. Just place your bets, and live your life. You will be much happier. Watching every game and getting stressed isn't good for you. Just relax when watching a game. Just remember you will be doing this everyday, it is a grind, but much less when you don't go nuts at the game. Just breathe and enjoy. It's supposed to be fun.

Don't watch the games, unless you are planning a halftime bet. Go for a walk, watch a movie, do some push-ups or have yourself a slog, like PACO suggested.

I turn my TV off as soon as I notice myself tilting, it works for me.

Well said. Twiz I've also found that when you get into a nervous panic over games and losing- it effects your confidence in placing your next wagers. Not only your confidence, but your decisions. Don't let yourself get into a frenzy. Shit I had a bad day on Saturday and came back to win it all back +more yesterday. Obviously you can get excited, but don't beat yourself up and lose your voice over 1 single game. Shit, how many games are there in a day, let alone a week...

I like this idea ... I'm only 21 ... so I usually don't sit in front of a computer on weekends .. I just take my plays .. and occasionally sit around and watch but most often leave and do whatever and come back ... if I lose it wouldn't kill me because I have a nice profit on the year so far

I set aside 100,000 8 years ago as my bankroll. I have no limits that why its wise not to follow me. When i see a play i love i throw a dime on it without hesitation. I have no issues with my own plays until the line moves on me and then i get worried.

If you are serious about wanting to MAKE $$$$$ doing this then you should start the NBA season with at least 15k set aside. I dont care what anyone else tells you. Most guys bet for fun not to win. If i was losing doing this shit i would have quit a long time ago. If you are betting for the action then just bet $50 a game all the time. To be honest betting less than $50 a game is embarrassing for me not to insult others but i see no point in that to do it on all bets.Obviously high value ml are worth a $50 shot but its almost mandatory for me to bet $100 per play.
