I think I'm going to stay away from the total in the first game and see what plans Phil's been cooking up first. For some reason I can see the game finishing right around 192 if not a little more. That's just me though. It could end at 150 and make me look like a complete ass.

No, I would never lay -178. The +1 is (-105). It gave me a push gm1. But I hit the over 5.5. They have the total at 6(+100) tomorrow. Makes a big difference now. Last game, I figured if Flyers score at least 2 goals, I'd be good. Worked. Push on +1 and over cashes. Woulda been nice to hit em both though

I'll stay away then. As I said before, I know nothing about betting NHL - in tennis I lay that often.

I can't wait for this series -- so jacked up! My homerism might make it tough to accurately cap, at least to start with, but I still see the Celtics taking it -- great teams usually beat great players.
A key will be how much Gasol has improved from '08 (a lot I think) and also where KG is right now -- hard to tell... he's not '08 KG but at times in this year's playoffs he's been almost back to that form. Certainly light years ahead of where he was most of this regular season.
And don't forget how much more of a complete player Rondo is now than in '08, and he was good enough then for the Celtics to win!Comment -

Food for thought: Teams have been scoring at will in these playoffs and defense has been fleeting. I am not sure the under is a sure bet but it does look good. I think it depends on how they play the first half. The 2nd half is generally a bit higher scoring.

KG was the reason Boston won in 08.
KG is the fourth option now. Gasol is going to outplay KG. Ray Allen needs to have a big series, he'll probably see vujacic on him a lot and maybe even Artest at the beginning of games while Kobe guards Pierce to conserve energy (this will happen at some part in this series)

I'm staying away. Tennis is one thing but for me to lay that kind of juice in a sport I've never even tried to cap, especially after Paco and now you have said no, is just silly.
