I think I'm going to stay away from the total in the first game and see what plans Phil's been cooking up first. For some reason I can see the game finishing right around 192 if not a little more. That's just me though. It could end at 150 and make me look like a complete ass.

No, I would never lay -178. The +1 is (-105). It gave me a push gm1. But I hit the over 5.5. They have the total at 6(+100) tomorrow. Makes a big difference now. Last game, I figured if Flyers score at least 2 goals, I'd be good. Worked. Push on +1 and over cashes. Woulda been nice to hit em both though

Even though the series history and general matchup imply a strong under, all of the games between these teams this season were 1 point wins, so depending on how the game goes early, I can see a tight finish with high % shooting and lots of fouls.

I can't wait for this series -- so jacked up! My homerism might make it tough to accurately cap, at least to start with, but I still see the Celtics taking it -- great teams usually beat great players.

A key will be how much Gasol has improved from '08 (a lot I think) and also where KG is right now -- hard to tell... he's not '08 KG but at times in this year's playoffs he's been almost back to that form. Certainly light years ahead of where he was most of this regular season.

And don't forget how much more of a complete player Rondo is now than in '08, and he was good enough then for the Celtics to win!

KG is the fourth option now. Gasol is going to outplay KG. Ray Allen needs to have a big series, he'll probably see vujacic on him a lot and maybe even Artest at the beginning of games while Kobe guards Pierce to conserve energy (this will happen at some part in this series)
