C'maaan man you can't hate on Phil. The Lakers were just taking bad shots and not getting close on their 3-point attempts. Phil is the best coach in the history of the game (at least in the modern era)

This was the biggest game of the year for Phoenix and they showed up... they're going to be hard-pressed to do that again. Kobe went cold in the second half, that won't happen again.

You can be facetious all you want, Phil lost the game tonight. The Lakers looked lost against the zone in the second quarter. Odom played a horrible game as well, and Kobe didn't come to play in the second half...maybe the "killer instinct" didn't make the road trip?

Obviously they won't lose the series, but they pissed that game away.

I'm with you. I don't think the Lakers played bad at all. Their stats are better across the board aside from FT's..

Did you watch the game? Phil never figured out how to attack the weak zone Phoenix threw at them. He also never adjusted his defensive rotations to give better help on Amare and he stuck with unproductive lineups for much too long (i.e. any time Shannon Brown was on the court). Phil got beat this game.

Glad you got your playoff thrill out of this. Dont worry when they lose to Boston you can get a good laugh as well. Why are you ragging on Kobe the guy has been solid all playoffs. Are you upset cause you took the Lakers ?

the lakers are a great team, perhaps the best in the NBA, yet they have Kobe, Gasol, and a bunch of role players....the Bulls had Jordan, Pippen, and role players

People love to hate on Phil saying anyone could win with the best player in the game, even though this has been proven wrong so may times its ridiculous...without Phil the Lakers would implode, just as they did before he arrived

LB, he disappeared in the second half and you know it. He had Nash matched up on him in the zone most possessions and hardly attacked him. When the Suns pulled ahead 6 he decided to launch a do or die 3 with 21 seconds left on the shot clock. Not smart basketball.

I am not going to argue with you about Phil Jackson. And yes I watched every second of the game. The man hasn't won 10 titles for being a bad coach. This was one loss on the road- hell the Suns were even favored. You're jumping wayyyyyy ahead of yourself

Williams, the Lakers had plenty of chances in the 4th to win this one. They figured out how to deal with the d and get open for shots. They just couldn't hit them. This loss wasn't due to inferior coaching. It was because of too many missed shots and turnovers. If one of those 3s bricked up in the last 3 minutes actually hit, the outcome may have been much different.

at least he didn't disappeared 2 straight games like LEBRON and get ousted for another year, he's still playing in the conference finals now where's lebron?

It shouldn't take an NBA team 2 quarters to figure out a weak zone like that. Also, the Lakers started to panic once the lead hit 6 and started taking nothing but 3's. That's not smart basketball at all and it all starts with the coach.

I don't know Wizz. When did he go cold bro? The guy shot like fukkin 60 percent, and had like 15 in the second half. Don't blame Kobe. It's only Kobe's fault for not taking more shots, I said the only way Lakers win is if Kobe drops 40, he should have taken more shots instead of getting assists.

Lakers Bench was the problem, and always will be on the road.
