If the books knew that everyone would be on boston, shouldnt they have made the magic line a lot lower? Why would they give boston higher number than game 1. Is this game really a trap? I honestly dont see boston getting blown out too bad tonight.

You have to remember, that from the books perspective, they care about the volume of money, not the number of bets on each side. The books will occasionally hold a line steady despite unbalanced action because they expect the public pick to lose, but more often than not its because the bets coming in on the side getting 30% of the action are much larger on average so the disparity is not as severe as it seems on the surface.

However, I suspect that this game is the former and not the latter...

nah i don't like sheed cause i think he slacked the whole season, i understand he came to boston for the playoffs, but he's very frustrating to watch as a player at times. i love what's he doing in the playoffs so far, just don't like how long it took him to get his ass in gear and 'in shape'

also watching him brick more threes during the season than antoine walker used to was an especially sore subject because he can be a good post player, he's just lazy, that's why i don't like him, he needs baby's intensity which he's finally starting to display now with some regularity, just expected it before this for the dollars boston gave him
