That Heat -3 line was built to draw early sharp action on Miami, knowing that Boston typically draws very heavy public action and has taken the season series vs Miami. If you're basing your decisions on line movement, don't ever let yourself be drawn into making a play in the middle of the day when things are in transition. This is a tricky line.

How do you see this game playing out then? IMO, the only way Miami wins is if they contain Boston to under 90 points, which they've only managed once this year in five games. Any more than that and the differential in depth between the teams becomes an real issue for the Heat. Boston has accepted that Wade will score his ~30 points, and are primarily focusing on shutting down the rest of the team. Who's going to step up offensively for Miami?

The Heat thrive on their defense and the Celtics are always struggling offensively. Like you said, the problem is not the Heats defense, it's their offense...who is going to step up besides Wade? First off, Wade will score 45 tonight, or dish out 15 dimes- whatever it takes for his team to stay competative and win the game.

JO has had two of the worst games of his playoff career. There's now way that 1-10 performance from Game 2 continues tonight. Richardson usually catches fire at home- when he hits a couple shots in a row, watch out, he's one of the streakiest players in the NBA, and he's actually stayed disciplined defensively against PP this series. Wade is partially blaming himself for Ray Allen's 3 point masacre- though the game was already out of hand at that point.

Wade tried to get his teammates involved early in the last two games, and if they're going to continue to try and guard him 1 on 1, he's going to be way more aggressive tonight right from the getgo. Don't forget that Wade and Haslem have rings for a reason. They know how to deal with adversity like this. I've seen this story so many times with Miami in the playoffs the past 4 years. They've been down 2-0 before, Celtics were misarable on the road in the playoffs last season, and Doc Rivers doesn't know how to use his bench.
