Those no question in my mind that rose is not in the top 5 or even 7 pgs in the league right now. At some point, maybe in 1-2 years, he'll be in that discussion if he can average more than 7 assists per game. Because right now, he's just a scorer, and a solid passer, he's not a good defender. That's like putting Durant in the discussion for top 3 in the world, which would be crazy because you can't be on that level if your not a premier defender.

Rose may be better than Davis, but davis is a true point that averages over 8 assists almost every year of his career. Davis was once a top 3 pg in this league might I add. Westbrook is averaging 8 assists this sseason with 16 points and like 5-6 boards. He's the best defensive pg in the league, and that puts him in the top 5 discussion.

Being a point guard isn't all about numbers. It's about game management and leadership. If Rose was on a team where he didn't need to score, he would average over 8 assists a game. Part of his greatness is that he understands his situation. The Bulls don't have any top-notch NBA scorers, for them to be competitive against the top teams in the league, he needs to focus on his scoring as much his distribution, if not more.

I grade Derrick Rose so high because when i think about it, i can easily envision him raising the level of ANY team he was to play on, today. And i can easily see him being the point guard on a championship team. So for you to put Baron Davis and Russell Westbrook or even Tony Parker ahead of him doesn't make sense to me. Put either of those guys on a random team and they don't guaranteed make you better. You switch out Rose on the spurs or the clippers or the Thunder, and each of those teams is better then they are now, no doubt about it.

I like the over in the Denver game for the same reason I liked the over in the Atl game. The number is low. 3 out of 4 games played between these teams were over 220. Another small play on the over 209 GL to everyone

I'm the first one to over think (no pun intended) sometimes and I'm grateful to all the cappers that share their insight. I tend to play overs way too much, after following LB for awhile (pardon me if I'm wrong on this LB) he doesn't play overs that much but when he does they seem to hit almost every time. Instead of just tailing I'm trying to figure out the books too. Take ATL/mil last week LB pointed out that the total for the game was lower then the total points scored for every previous matchup so the Books want you on the under. the game goes way over so today shouldn't the total have been alot higher then 188.5? Thats why I liked the over in that game. I'm hoping the same applied to the Denver/Utah game 209 just seems low to me. But hey maybe the game ends up in the 90's and this is all for not. GL guys

Kobe you are clearly listening to the announcers. Richardson did not have to go over to KG and antagonize him, theres no need for it. Ya KG has an attitude problem but he is also a damn good teammate that will alwasy stick up for his players.
