West Virginia's defense has been phenomenal, especially over the last month-month and a half. They play that 1-3-1... it forces turnovers and confuses the other teams. One thing about it though is that it can be vulnerable to good shooting teams, which Duke is. I think WVU will make an adjustment and extend the 1-3-1 out farther on the perimeter than usual. They won't give up the open shots like they were willing to do to Kentucky. Mountaineers should win this one in a 65-59 type game.

I'm glad I checked out the thread tonight. This is good advice i hate being down in the middle of the week, I get so pissed sometimes. I have a lot to learn. A couple weeks back I lost my ass chasing and am still pissed at myself for it. That is a big part of why i have been so quiet lately. It was an expensive lesson but lesson learned. I'm in this for the long haul. I know I will have a few more bumps in the road at times.

Ok guys what are your thoughts for the second half. Roy is going to continue to struggle so long as Affallo is in the game. Denver minus 3 looks like the play and maybe under 99.5. There were a lot of cheap fouls in that half, both teams got into the penalty which led to numerous points off free throws.

Second half should be very physical.

Roy has been contained, just like I called. J.R. has already jacked up 5 threes in 12 minutes. Both coaches are preaching defense, not turning the ball over, and not getting in the penalty early in the quarter in the locker rooms right now, not offense.
