All Denver has in ENERGY players off the bench, Lawson, JR Smith, Birdman- These guys don't get worn down. Additionally, players like Affallo and Billups hustle on the defensive end. If anyone is going to get worn out its Portland.

Ah, it's all good. It IS actually quite hilarious when you think about it: We come in to your threads to get advice from you, some even begged you to come back when you were in semi-retirement and when you do return, you give us repeated warnings to stay away from the NBA until the playoffs start.

Instead... some of us have ignored your advice and continue to bet anyway. And in some cases, like ME, betting hard (until tomorrow anyway and then it's down to 0.2 units for me).

Denver needs to continue to feed off of this energy. The crowd is into it... you can really tell that they are trying to do their part. J.R. Smith is the most important player for Denver so far and will continue to be as the night goes on. That's not to say Melo and Chauncey aren't important, but they can both play well and Denver can lose. When Smith is on, they hardly ever lose.

They are, but with a common denominator: both defend well and rebound the basketball. Just like MSU. Butler doesn't really fit into that equation as much (at least not on the boards).
