how does a team losing it's best offensive and defensive player as well as another starter give them a better chance to win?
people saying that vegas is just letting the public go nuts on the raptors haven't taken a minute to think of the GAME IMPLICATIONS and what losing duncan and parker will do.
and if you want to talk about the lines.... if vegas was truly sure that the spurs would win they would make the line spurs-1.5 so the public will think "holy shit, duncan and parker are out and now the team is going to get blown out!!!" instead, they make it 4.5 so it doesn't look like to big a deal and the impact of losing 2 starting players isn't all that important.
If calderon/bosh were sidelined and duncan/parker weren't, you would likely see the line go to about spurs-14.5 for example.
