good point - the last 2 years are probably more relevant with durant having been there...atl won by 11 last year and okl won outright in 7. honestly, im just looking for any reason to play the thunder this year. they have a great group of young talent.

i may or may not play this...and if i do and lose it's my last time going against the grizzlies for awhile, because i can't get a read on how damn good they are now...but i feel like the suns could come in and beat the grizz down. grizz are hot, but they beat a team they very rarely (if ever) beat yesterday (spurs), and you got the suns coming in, who are not only coming in off that bad, bad loss to charlotte, but they got SMOKED last time the grizz came to phoenix. i know the suns are unpredictable, but i have a feeling like they would love nothing more than to ruin the grizz mlk party.
brian mcknight is performing at halftime, by the way. i mean, this is a big night for the grizz.
like i said, if you really want to read it a certain way, this one does represent a potential decent (maybe not perfect) storm. i'll be keeping an eye, to say the least.Comment -

yeah, was it don't bet against a team who's lost three in a row or for a team who's won three in a row? i kind of remember it being an arbitrarily forced, "sounded better to say than actually practice" kind of trend.
anyway, the thing is it's tough to use these matchup trends against the grizz, i mean, they're really bucking them all. but man, i really don't think they beat the spurs and suns in consecutive games, especially after what happened in phoenix. didn't they win by like 80 points? it was a quarter-to-quarter beatdown. no way the suns have forgotten about that. for a team that almost won in atlanta, i think +2 in memphis is reasonable.
