i'm rolling over 107 pacers/kings second half. this will be a dogfight, and these teams dogfight one another by scoring.

That Nuggets line is kind of weirding me out. It was at -9, then jumped up to -10 at some places, back down to 9 and now 8.5. I always like Denver at home though..so I'm not sure lol. Maybe not playing this one either.

(3x) thunder +3.5 - letdown spot for the celts coming off a national tv win at san antonio. back to back at a rested thunder team who play in a loud home arena where the fans rival a college setting with their passion for the thunder. friday night home dogs should always get an extra look - and this appears to be an ideal spot for the thunder to spring the upset. 6-3 ats at home and 6-1 ats vs the eastern conference for oklahoma city.

(2x) jazz -9 - utah has won their last 3 home games vs indiana by an avg margin of 17ppg. 2 teams going in opposite directions right now. pacers are 1-5 ats as road dogs this season. good luck in salt lake.

Also Al Harrington has been in recent trade talks which could effect his play. Also with Gallinari questionable, or sore forearm if he does play I think this is a good spot for a Nets team who has talent and finally got the monkey off their back. I was gonna play this but decided not to cause I just dont like any of tomorrows games. GL tomorrow Dex

(2x) blazers -4 - back to back for the knicks and thinking that may be the edge portland needs to pull away late. last 3 games in the garden were all close wins for portland (7,6,6) - but all 3 covered tomorrows number. portland is an elite big team that should have their way with the knicks down low even without oden. dont overthink this one.

(3x) jazz -1.5 - the jazz have are 3-1 su/ats their last 4 home games vs the spurs winning 3 of those games by 15ppg. san antonio failed to get revenge vs utah a few weeks ago at home, and this just might be a utah dominated series in 2009-2010.

Hey Dex, Was just wondering if your picks are taking into consideration O'Neal being out for the heat, and for Oden being out for your Portland pick tomorrow?
The kings have been playing quite solid at home too considering they are still with out Martin, and that goes for the same with the knicks at home putting up a lot of points with some wins here and there.

nah - the nba is the kind of sport (team oriented) where you really shouldnt worry too much about injuries. other guys always step in (ie, joel pryzbilla) and do the job with a line that gets adjusted in your favor.

these 2 guys are not really line movers anyway.

i used to make bets like fading the heat without wade, or fading the lakers without kobe - doesnt matter. if anything you should play teams with key injuries and jump on the adjusted line that the public will move in your favor.

in light of that i'm on the blazers as well laying the road chalk. oden's out oh nooooooooooooooo who gives a shit. they honestly probably pose a better matchup without him. and they're used to playing without him; let's not forget, this is nothing new to their core players, who are virtually the same from last year.

i also like the warriors and the points tomorrow. kinda dangerous betting with them on the road, but i believe the game will be closer than the line indicates.
