I've had so many bad beats in baseball that I quit betting it. The pitching is watered down and even an 8-9 run lead is not safe (I know from experience).

The big parlays I make are just for fun. If you see me put more than $10 on a parlay then I believe it has a legitimate shot to hit (maybe a 20% chance vs. less than 1% on these 10 teamers). If you can't afford to lose the money you're playing with, don't bet parlays.

My thing is the teasers. That's where I've made most of my money in the last year, especially the NBA and NCAA basketball.

Yeah, I felt good about this when I played it today but still needed 2 miracles to pull it off. I've just missed a few big ones in the last couple of months including a nice 8 teamer last week (had 7 out of 8), but that's how it is with parlays.
