I was thinking the exact same thing about the coaching during the game. That bitch really didn't know what she was doing -- they didn't run a single play right, all bunched up together all the time, and the defense... holy shit. I think in high school we did an effing better job of matching up and handling picks.

Aaaight, Sexymit,

We took care of everyone's money with our Project Plays. Nothing lost nothing gained by covering our bets.

Looking ahead to Wednesday, I think that the public will show us which way to go on this game. I'm not really to big on it. It's your call and I'll follow your lead on that one if you want to make a play.

There are some really good games on Thursday for us to capitalize off of. One that sticks out to me is the Connecticut/Indiana matchup, which may work in our favor with Indiana having such a sterling record at this time. They have been a covering machine, and in the world of wagering, the books always find away to upset comfort (think of the New England Patriots a couple fo years back covering 8 straight out the gate and losin 8 straight covers thereafter.)

I hate to say it, but looking at the matchups and seeing and weighing the situations involved, I think that we could actually very well take all of the games to go under and win all three or go 2-1 worst case scenario.

Connecticut and Indiana is shoo in to go under off the top because it's an east coast battle between possible playoff teams. Sacramento is out of gas and may get blown the f*ck out b Minny, Detroit can't shoot but they defend well and New York defends well and also can't shoot.

As far as the Minny line is concerned, you already know what the number is gonna look like. I think it will be a double digit line. You will have to hae big stones to press the Sacramento button again. I say that we wait until they get home and lay the wood first half and game. They have the best attendance in the WNBA and they will be desperate and charged. That game is on 7/7/09. And guess who they face? That's right, Chicago. It don't get any better than that. There was some fellow on the thread saying that he was gonna outcap us the rest of the way. Dude wasn't even thinking about next Tuesday yet.

Run a 1.5 point radius on all WNBA seasons and show me where a hook is worth anything near 10 cents. It's not. Five games out of how many? That's what matters. Line shop. Don't buy hooks. I'm only trying to help. If you think you're above the actual statistics, then by all means, enjoy your ignorance and negative expected value.

Not that I feel strongly either way about either side here, but I will say if you're looking to apply the principle of expected value, there are quite a few other places you might want to start with first before the WNBA (or sports betting in general, for that matter).

I hope you're kidding. Are you implying that financial markets are less efficient than sports betting markets? And if you'd like to pretend that sports betting markets are more efficient, then perhaps you should look at the line movements in the WNBA sides and totals today and tell me how little value is found. Small market sports are FAR easier to find value with than larger markets such as NFL, NBA, etc.
