#352Obviously we should wait on the line and take the Sky tomorrow. I think that we may end up using our extra point. I see that the line went down from Seattle-2 to -1.5. The total has gone from 142.5 to 143.5. No worries, the size of the line shows that his will be a slow down drag em out prizefightComment -

#353Damn I should have just went on ahead and went with Phoenix and the over liked we talked about! This is horrible with the Sac game last night and then these 2 other ones that we I decided to leave alone. We would be 9-2, Oh well I guess 6-2 isn't so bad! I just don't usually do a whole lot of plays in one day and I get nervous!
Besides I want to put out the best possible plays for you guys that we feel the best about to win money! Cause we know that everyone likes moneyIf it seems to good to be true it usually is!!

#356i played phoenix minus 7 my power ratings i use have them as a 9 point favorite so anything under 9 would have been a play for me. Also the over 168 looks good in this game phoenix is scoring 84 points a game and giving up 84 a game and sac is scoring close to 74 and giving up 74 sac first game on the road went over and phoenix has had two home games this year with over cashing in both so those are my two plays tonight good luck guysgood job today ck and sexymit let's kill the books again tomorrow

#366Brother, if we can get you involved in this too it's all over for the books. I mean seriously.... the 3 of you together on these picks and it's just a money printing machine.
Guys, thanks again for the free money giveaway today. I like free money. I think we all like free money. I played some New York woman's team and the under in that game between some other woman's basketball team... and I guess there's some woman's team in Phoenix so I played them too because you said so.... and the I put all 3 of those plays into a teaser for giggles. Yeah.... looks like I won 4 bets with a nice +180 or so teaser.
I don't know how to express my gratitude to you guys without sounding like a fag so I'm just gonna say again...thanks.Comment -

#370CK, I know you always say to play dogs late but the way the Sky line is going do you think waiting it out is most beneficial in this situation? Sylvia Fowles is a force inside and should give Lauren Jackson some problems. Fowles has had 2 great games already this year, 5-6 15 points and 6-10 18 points.Last edited by sweetjones55; 06-14-09, 12:45 AM.Scared money don't make money

#372I hate to say it, but uh.. Well whatever..now I know that Connecticut has an incredible streak of going under the total.... I think it's 5 straight dating back to last year and also they have an incredible penchant for going under when the total is 150 anything.
But what are they going to do to try and stop the Dream from getting off their shots? Connecticut is anything but a tall team and I know for a fact that they are last in the league in blocked shots. Atlanta is 4th from last in the league at surrendering points. But at the same time they create a lot of offense from turnovers, and average a mind boggling 10.33 steals per game. Multiply that shit by 2 then because the Dream are desperate for a win on this road trip, and Connecticut happens to be in the way. I see this game as an up tempo game fueled by high energy. Connecticut will get caught up in the flow of the game and before they figure out what's going on they'll be chucking up threes trying to match the determination of the hustling Dream. And that's not a bad idea beacuse the Dream are (get this) LAST in the league in 3 point defense, and Connecticut is #1 against the three.
I came up with a margin of 7.33 for this game so I would stay away from the side as the line is spot on in my opinion, and could go either way with the chalk involved. I honstly don't know how the Dream will be able to hang in there and cover with their shooting % from 3 and dismal 0.94 assist to turnover ratio. But as they say the game has to be played, and the Dream may shock and get the backdoor. One thing is for certain. It's gonna be balls, er I meanto the wall for the full 40 minutes
The over is a perfect 3-0 in their 3 games against one another. The linemaker was attempting to make a correction for the string of unders that Connecticut has had in a row with the number for this game (opening of 149.5 and now up to 153.5), and he forgot to compensate for the amount of talent on the floor. The number for this game is very high and should raise eyebrows to begin with as Connecticut usually gets lines in the 140's. And when they go up to 150 anything they usually go under except for when they play Atlanta, Phoenix or Detroit.
One thing I was told a long time ago was to never break a perfect trend. I don't want to know why they always go over. I just know that they do. The toilet flushes when you push the handle, right? That's all that you want to know...
I offer up
Connecticut/Atlanta over 153
The public is going to be on the under because of the streak. I think that if we wait, the line will possibly go down to 152, and then we nail the over.Last edited by cocknocker; 06-14-09, 01:37 AM.Comment -

But to answer your question in a word, no. I still say that we wait. And if we have to we can always buy a point if we need to later on. Plus we are waiting on the totals to do their thing over night as well

#374Hey, CK, question... What do you think about the totals in Sea/Chi game? I remember you mentioned that you liked the under, I liked it too so I went ahead and played it at under 144. I am not liking the movement so far though. So I would love to know what you think, thanks!Comment -

#376What do you think about a little parlay with some point buying? My book doesn't allow me to tease WNBA, which I'm sad about, but they let me buy points on 3 team parlays. Buying anywhere from 3-5 on the spreads/totals still churns out a decent little +180 - +300 region. In addition to playing your single plays, I've hit some parlays that have multiplied my wnba fund by 5 in 2 days. If you were gonna play 1 side and 2 o/u ...or 2 sides and 1 o/u, what would you like to get the spreads at? Or would you not play tomorrow, based on what's on the books? I kinda just went off your plays experimenting for the past 2 days since it was very minor plays, but now i'm actually working with more than chump change.
I'd probably buy the over down to 150, or even 148 if it continues to drop. Probably take the sky +4 or +4.5, and maybe buy the under on that game up a few points. Undecided for now. I've been mostly thinking about lakers/magic, and for now am no playing that game. :/Comment -

pick: sea-1
The Storm just plainly owns the Sky in the past 3 years going 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS. I don't see why this trend has to change. Expect the trio of Jackson, Cash and Bird to dispose Chicago and bring that SU streak to 7. Making the odds worst for Chicago is that they are 0-6 ATS against the West in last 6.Comment -

Well I cheated last night I went on ahead and took Phoenix for the 2nd half last night! I was out and didn't make it back to take them for the game, but with you and JGB on Phoenix I figured why the hell not! And it worked, I did have the over already though so it was an excellent night again!
I think if we keep this up the bookies are going to start getting scared of us, and especially with everyone that follows. The books are in serious trouble this WNBA season! If it seems to good to be true it usually is!!

#381Last year, Atlanta and Conneticut scored 168 (100-68 Conn) and 210 (109-101 Conn in OT). That OT game went way over in regulation hitting 178 (86-86). Both games went way over, the line in both games were O/U 157.
Conneticut beat Atlanta in all 3 meetings last year by 26 on the road, 32 and 8 @ home. Conneticut is 3-15 ATS @ home in its last 18 games @ home.Last edited by sweetjones55; 06-14-09, 08:51 AM.Scared money don't make money

#384Chicago HEAVY it is. I absolutely love the Dream/Sun over! So what I suggest for all you teaser guys is this:
Tease Chicago+4 and Dream/Sun over 149.5
As for us, I don't think that we will get any better than where we are now with the Sky. I am more than comfortable taking them at the PK, although my book still has them listed at +1. I don't think that point buy is in order when we have a line such as this one. Two units up on this one
Project Pick
Chicago+100 moneyline $500.00 to win $500.00 (2 units)Last edited by cocknocker; 06-14-09, 01:19 PM. Reason: We changed our play to the moneyline from Chicago+1Comment -

#385I am still gonna wait it out on the total play for tonight. I think that we may eeek out one more point. Ideally I would like the number 152. So I am waiting to see if we can get down to 153 even, and then I can pound the under with a 1 point buy and get the desired figure I had in mind for the play!Comment
