#1962I was looking at oddshark, had them at +4.5 and a loss. Thanks for clarifying .Comment -

#1963ScoresandOdds.com should be the authority. According to the first game against OKC (11/29), the line went up to +5, but closed at +4.5 (I assume that's what "Current" means). Hopefully Skyscrapers can make the ultimate decision before game-time.Comment -

#1964Firstly, Scoresandodds.com is the ONLY reference we use for Chase 110.
Secondly, this gets really strange. Under the Pelicans list of games log it states the line closed at +5 which is a Push against OKC on Nov. 29.
Now if you go into the game details then line movement it states +4.5 was the closing line. However according to the time stamp that +4.5 line actually is after the game started.
I'll make the decision to just treat it as a Push unless Wallco says otherwise. I almost always use the game logs to determine the closing lines anyway as I don't have time to check every individual game detail and line movement. Hope that explains everything.Comment -

#1965Thanks for the clarification sky. Best thing is to defer to same method you always use.Comment -

#1966Don't use the individual team game logs, use the scoresandodds.com, day-to-day, whole card lines for determining ALL plays. That is all I ever used. There were frequent discrepancies at times on the individual team game logs, so I NEVER used those in my testing or in my game scoring results. Just use the final line shown on the card sheet, no need to open up line movement category. It's easier to use the main card anyway, then you don't have to open anything else up.Last edited by Wallco99; 12-05-19, 08:29 PM.Comment -

#1967Ok I'll use the entire card line page from now on even though it involves much more page-flipping. I've been using the individual team logs for all these years as it's much easier to read and much less time-consuming. If that is the case then New Orleans would have been a play today. The good thing is New Orleans lost so we'll carry on with their B bet.Comment -

Losses: SA (-24.60u)
There are no system plays for (12/6/19)
#16 Resumes (B) on 12/7/19
We will ALWAYS play the M/L on favorites and the point spread (-110) on dogs. The team underlined and highlighted blue is the play. There is no point buying in this system, with one exception, if your team is the favorite, and buying down to a (-½) point spread is cheaper than playing the M/L, then by all means, buy the points, otherwise, M/L on all favorites and point spread on dogs. All results will be based on this principle. All lines and standings are based on FINAL lines from ScoresandOdds.com. If one of the teams we are playing switches from a favorite to a dog, after my initial post, make sure you get the appropriate line if it differs from what I have posted. The wins and losses will be based on who is the dog team, and who is the favorite on ScoresandOdds.com final lines. I will try to update my post as often as I can throughout the day if the lines do change. However, it is the individual bettor’s responsibility to get the appropriate line if it differs from the line in my post. System rules and backtests can be found in posts #96 & #1809.Comment -

#1970I've been using the game logs as well. I know there are discrepancies between the game logs and the final lines listed on the card sheet, but they are less of a factor here than in a sport like hockey, which often comes down to one-point victories. I do think it's a good idea to use the card sheets since that's what the backtesting is based on.Last edited by skyscrapers; 12-06-19, 04:15 PM.Comment -
