thats more of an underground bookies way of stating lines for baseball (you'll see lines like that in newspapers as well). 20x (or 20 times) is the underground term used for a $100 bet. anytime you see a line the way i wrote it, multiply it by 20 to get the standard value of 20x7 = -140. that number is always assuming a $100 bet. $140 to win $100 etc...or +6 = 6x20 = 100 to win 120 etc

also, 1 time = $5.....so 20x (times) = 20x5 = 100

a $500 bet would be 100x (100 times) 100x5=$500
