Was dead tired last night, first night of action I miss in a while. Just watched the Mavs game this morning, just how fukking awesome is Monta? I'll get heat for this and be labelled a homer but he should be in the MVP conversation as of today. Plain and simple. Only guy I have above him is Curry, maybe Marc Gasol as well. No one else who is playing for a top 5-7 team is playing better.

Obviously by season's end that won't be the case anymore though I'm not delusional either.

Looks like the Nets finally woke up. I sort of wanted to take them but I don't understand what's wrong with them this year. There's literally no reason for them to be this bad.

2 years ago with the same core they got homecourt. They have KG on top of that who's actually playing ok and probably a better bench than that year.

I like Sacramento quite a bit. Cousins will still be out sure but at least this time they know in advance they won't have him instead of it being touch-and-go till tip-off.

They're probably better than a Paul George-less Indiana even without him. I think -3 is good there with Indiana playing back to back. The line is short because Sac has looked like shit the last 3 or 4 games but I like them to come out of their funk.

Portland will probably be losing going into the last 6 minutes and win by 10 but whatever.

This is a 35-point battering in my mind. The only thing is OKC's scrubs suck. So if they're up 35 going into the 4th they could end up only winning by 18-20 or so. Guess I have to take that risk.

Remember for the Kings game that the Kings always hammer the Bulls at home (they've won by 15, 30 and 40 approx the last 3 seasons). They also played Indiana really tough last year and should have won that game (Paul George 4-point play on a phantom foul sent the game to OT) when Indiana was tearing it up. I think they play those types of teams pretty well at home.

Thunder is still a -12 spread will all the bullshit backdoors we know there can be.

I'm probably taking a first half play on them too (on the normal spread) so at the end of the day both plays will be of similar sizes.

Fair enough I can understand being reluctant to laying that many on the road. Those first wins can give confidence but I really think Philly is just too badly outmatched tonight and will play against a hungry okc team.
