Thanks for the time and thought you put into your picks Seto. I actually played the Jazz ML at halftime +950 for 1u and live at beginning of 3Q +1160 for .25u. I thought they were going to pull it out at the end there. Oh well. At least the last second put-back covered the spread. A little good luck once in a while is nice to even out some of the bad beats.
I like your style of hitting the ML and selecting the occasional long shot when you see value on these large payout plays. I love your input and I will continue to keep an eye on your thread for your angles and plays on games. You are one of the few guys on here that I have picked up some valuable knowledge and learned from, so thank you for that as well. Good luck and keep up the good work.

Probably yeah. They just have to stop coming out so lethargic in games. This game was still there for the taking though. They got a great look at what would've probably been the game winning shot.
I'm more mad about missing out on that +850 bet when I had a 2 possession lead with 2 minutes to go with the Spurs against the Sixers tbh. I'm already over the Utah thing. I got more money out of the game than I thought I would after a quarter and a half.
I think Boston aren't as bad as their record indicates (mainly due to their 4th quarter collapses) so I want to take them but Atlanta has been really hot lately and have burned me the last 2 times I've faded them. The Celtics probably hang but it's gonna be close at 6.5.
Lakers/Pistons and Nets/Knicks are both total crapshoots in my mind. On paper both road teams are better and should win especially since they need wins but I think you can see why I'm afraid to touch those games. Stupid due theory.
I've taken Dallas a lot this year against Eastern teams but I'm not feeling this one for some reason even with the Bulls off the trip.
Tbh the games that interest me the most don't have odds yet. Magic, Kings and Thunder might all be worth a look. I'm not too sure how to play the KD return angle if he does actually come back but New Orleans just hasn't figured it out yet this year as a team. I think they're fade material for now. Obviously if Durant returns and the line is something like OKC-4 it will be near impossible to take the Thunder though.Comment -

Those live longshot bets are good too. That's actually how I started my first good winning streak in the NBA. Back a couple years ago you had 2 teams that were absolute gold to take live, the Heat during their 27-game winning streak who would often screw around with teams before putting them away and the Lakers during their late playoff push who would always play awful before Kobe (ok, maybe the refs helped a bit here and there too) bailed them out in 4th quarters. I was getting buried the first couple months of that season down 2.5 grand or so which was a ton of cash to me at that point but then I turned the 1.5 grand I had left into nearly 5 figures in 3 months or so and it all sort of kicked off from there. Ups and downs as you'd expect with a couple of memorably awful days but I've always had a healthy bankroll since that point. Now it's at an all time high (well nearly - it was a week ago).
I actually don't do well with live betting outside of those types of bets. When I bet 2nd halves or live spreads I often lose. But then I hit that +500 or even +1000 play and it doesn't matter anymore lol. I guess it's just about getting a feel for the game. It's also always good to know the teams that love to piss away big leads too. The Pistons are typically gold there. Celtics look like a good one this year too.
Overall I've just learned from the guys here that seemed to have a clue and also learned from the experience of watching lots of games. Nothing can replace that to me. I feel like spending 3 or 4 hours watching games is much more valuable than spending 3 or 4 hours or whatever people spend crunching numbers and building math models to find lines that they think are 6 or 7 cents off. If that works for them it's cool though - everyone has their style.Comment -

Yeah I'd mentioned I sort of liked it and would've middled it with my Hawks live play but I'm happy with what I won on the game.
They were down 9 with 2 minutes to go so it could've easily lost really.
