Dajuan Wagner. What happened to that guy? He disappeared pretty quickly...

Another year for a lot of freshmen wouldn't do any harm. Look at how Harden turned out. His stock definitely improved over the last year.

there's also the quote that should go down in history as the benchmark for how coaches should handle players like that.

cal was quoted as saying, after asked whether or not derrick rose should go to the nba, that he told derrick, 'If you want to do what's best for you, declare yourself eligible. If you want to do what's best for me and my family, stay another year."

personally i like that he's that way with his kids. he recruits all these studs with the promise that they will be nba prospects, and he doesn't try to back out of the deal.

wagner got drafted by the cavs, got hurt, and never was able to come out of it.

penny hardaway still holds the record for "most successful" tiger in the nba. he's from memphis too, went to melrose, i think.

derrick rose is closing in on him, but he's not from memphis like penny was, so it's not quite the same.

nba heo, he's the number one recruit in the country. he's verbally committed to memphis but he hasn't signed anything yet. he still says memphis is in the lead, but he's going to continue his visits with all the schools that have courted him.

memphis already has xavier henry and has a verbal commitment from the number 2 guy, i don't remember who he is. just check rivals; memphis has far and away the best class for next year.

i think he did, not 100% sure, but his dad coached under cal, which is probably why his son went to memphis in the first place. cal ain't got no ends to his connections...and everyone hates him. i can't think of his name, but i know he played for louisville and ended up coaching at memphis under cal.
