Interesting tidbit regarding the Duke/St. John's game tomorrow... Last season, the Blue Devils were in cruise control before dropping 2 straight in-conference games around the same exact time (mid-February). Who did they get to play next? That's right, the Johnnies -- destroying them by 30. It was a home game for the Dukies, while the one tomorrow is on the road, but that shouldn't matter much at all. Coach K's kids are more than hungry enough to get back in the win column. The Storm can say their prayers, kick their heels together, but you're right, CK, this one has "cakewalk" written all over it...

I don't wanna give St Johns to much hope tomorrow, however they did beat ND this yr at the Garden. Don't underestimate a big game at the garden for these guys to play there hearts out trying to defeat a nationally recognized team in Duke. Duke has not been there dominant selves in a couple seasons now, there is a reason why they lost 2 in a row. I'm not saying bet your bankroll on St Johns tomorrow, however give St johns a punchers chance to maybe get under the number.

For all you Hockey newbies....lemme give you a quick education on one of the sickest goals you will EVER see.

Alexander Ovechkin is arguably the best hockey player in the world at this moment. He plays for the Washington Capitals. Wednesday night against Montreal he showed skills that should impress even the neophyte hockey fan. Trust me when I say this, this goal is ridiculous.

They were lucky to get ND when they did, as were the other sub-par teams that got the best of the Irish during their little losing streak... Not saying the Johnnies won't put up a hell of a fight, but you can bet that the Dukies will also be playing with something to prove (as strange as that may sound, going against a team like St. John's). The Storm certainly have a good shot at covering, however, should the number continue to rise into tomorrow...

There are only 2 games tomorrow, and to be honest, i've been 0-3 on days like this. I will try and get my first win tomorrow:

I find days like these very difficult to cap. I'm going out tomorrow and fade public perception on this game. When you put the Spurs and Pistons together, the public (even I) will normally call the UNDER play. But since its just 2 games, I am banking that these 2 teams will go against the public and score the lights out tomorrow. Aside from this speculation, I will also add a trend that the OVER for these 2 teams combined is 8-2 in the last 5 games. These mind games with the books just adds the excitement to gambling.

LOVE xavier -7 tomorrow.
Charlotte lost by 22 at Xavier earlier in the year. Charlotte may be a terrible road team (2-7 ovr and 0-5 in the conf) but xavier is an elite 8 type team.

ok, the thing that i feel like i've noticed over the weeks in which thursday only showed 2 games is that the biggest public favorite covers and the other game you fade the public. I don't know if it's because vegas just makes money on totals and moneylines on thursday, or even maybe if it's just a losing day for vegas most of the time. All i know is that i've seen this happen a LOT, even last week with the celtics covering as the heavies public plays, the heat getting the public fading victory (while the golden state game i believe wound up with around 50/50 + or - 3 %'s and obviously went to the warriors). I want to be convinced that it can happen like that tomorrow, but that's probably how i will play it.

The last perfect thursday i remember was the day that CK got me on like SA -14 and the knicks +7 in dallas, and i remember the percents being accurate that day too, so that's my theory and if i can believe in it, that's how i'll play it.

yeah i follow ucla pretty closely and they're definitely not experienced enough as a team and their first year center is still undeveloped

numbers for SA are not so great only 2-6 ATS and SU, but thats not the Pistons team of old we are talking about here, they are horrible right now add that SA lost and that they want revenge, I dont know this game could get ugly for Det, SA is 8-4 ATS after losses this year (excluding their bad start to the year) and they never lost more than two games in a row this year (again excluding that bad bad start), and well I dont know about the line I think the books could surprise us here and either make it a pk or Det a slight favorite, but I am not a bookie so lets wait

well, they are 2-2 the last 4 in det, but revenge is the big angle for me today with sa - plus off the su loss to ny, they should be fired up to get the W.

Booked Michigan -4, the gophers have been less than stellar on the road in conference play. also betting the under 126.5 as the wolverine offense is not too consistent and gophers have not hit 70 pts in a month.
