Magic played like crap today. It's been a roller coaster ride for me lately. Hopefully we can end the first half of the season in a high note fellas:

    line: ptb@gsw 217
    pick: 217 over

    Trends supporting my lean:

    - The over for Portland is 13-8 against bad defensive teams this season.
    - The over for Golden State is 17-8 at home this season.
    - The over for Golden State is 20-11 when avenging a loss versus an opponent this season.

The Blazers are at the end of a b2b and should be looking forward to the All Star Festivites. Tired legs and lack of focus means awful defense. We all know what the Warriors are like on defense (see link). Look forward for Portland and Golden State to provide us both a high octane basketball game and most importantly, cash for us to celebrate in the All Star Week!

I like Golden State overs at home. I like this one as long as the number doesn't reach 220. I like Bulls overs at home. I like this one as well.

Ray Allen hyperextended his thumb vs the Hornets today but is expected to play on Thursday. I'm looking at that game and Boston is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings against Dallas. The last meeting between the two was in Boston and the Mavericks were blown out by 24. That was when all their guys were healthy. This time, they have no Terry and that's one less offensive weapon the Celtics need to worry about.

Early leans for me tomorrow are Golden St -1.5, Fresno St +3.5, Georgia Southern +1 and Ck's SP. I'm having an excellent week, with my own capping along with CK's SPs and hockey's picks I am up 19 units!!!! Let's all finish out the week strong and bring home that money.

CK, what do you think about the other Oregon school down in Eugene? They're having a horrible season and tomorrow, they will be traveling to Pullman to take on the Cougars. Washington State is always a tough place to play and the way Oregon is this year, I like my chances with WSU.

11 is a lot to lay against a slow-down offense that has been hot and cold this year, even if oregon is terrible. I do however like the UNDER 121 in this game, but not enough to play it

(i know you didnt ask me, but im from washington so i see many of their games)

God himself could not convince CK not to bet a secret play. He has said it time and time again if it qualifies as a secret play he bets 1500 on it and that is it. I am pretty sure there is no circumstance outside of the whole starting lineup for a team being suspended or dead where he would not bet a SP.

my reply had nothing to do with secret play, it was in regards to oregon at washington state, who is favored by 11....

probably will add celtics too.. not 100% though because dallas is at home while boston is traveling - no terry makes it very enticing though, last game dallas got killed and terry had 27

(i know you didnt ask me, but im from washington so i see many of their games)
You do have a point. Washington State does play pretty methodical on offense. They did win by 12 up at Oregon earlier this year though. Maybe I'll look more into it and see if I like it enough. Thanks for your input, Odraca.

I'm looking at that game and Boston is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings against Dallas. The last meeting between the two was in Boston and the Mavericks were blown out by 24. That was when all their guys were healthy. This time, they have no Terry and that's one less offensive weapon the Celtics need to worry about.

believethehype, the kid, big money, does the boston line look a little fishy to you? maybe like a trap, possibly? i'm no expert on the subject, but it seems kinda low, even with the celts coming off a b2b, and the possibility of ray allen out of the lineup tomorrow. is the flu about to hit the celtics?

edit: i see allen's expected to play...that kinda makes it seem even more fishy...thoughts?

ck, i didnt see anything bad over there, i just liked where somebody told "TodaysAction" where to find Hockeytown. Then the guy goes on to say, " he's in CKs thread, where they all talk to each other about picks, and this guy CK started the thread, but it looks like he jst sits back now and let's his "ck mafia" collaborate about picks. they all talk about things, and they seem to get better because of it....." just seems to hit the nail in the head. I just find it funny that the concept of what we do here, is so strange to all the other forums. It's like people in every other thread have no brains. they just blindly tail, and they find a thread like ours (ck's) weird.

                                                            OK, so...

Chicago Bulls -3.5 :: Chicago is playing consistent basketball. Very successful west coast trip and then was able to beat Detroit on their home floor 2 days ago. Miami has been having trouble keeping up with high scoring teams, and has struggled the road..(see: Denver 99 Miami 82; @Sixers 94 Miami 84; @Pacers 114 Miami 103). Chicago will present a ton of matchup problems defensively. They score a lot and have built up a ton of momentum and confidence riding into this last game before the break. Chicago is also 5-0 SU against Miami in Chicago the last 3 seasons.

Dallas Mavericks -(oh wait, they're not minus?) :: I have been riding the Mavs to the bank the past couple weeks as I think they're one of the most underrated teams in basketball. Jason Kidd's style is starting to click with everyone there...Dirk is a stud, Howard is healthy, and Dampier is playing big in the middle. I wasn't sure how they'd react to playing without Terry last game but they whalloped the -11.5 spread anyway. With Boston coming in on the tail end of a b2b, right off of escaping New Orleans (if you watched it wasn't as lopsided as the score indicate), definitely not playing their best basketball the past couple weeks, and now Ray Allen's thumb hyperextended, I'm liking Dallas to continue to play team basketball and ride their home court to victory. Forget the points in this one. Mavs ML.

Golden State -2.5 :: Golden State is on FIRE at home of late, and this will not stop against a bad road team in the Blazers. Portland's on a b2b, in their last game they played 3 quarters of even basketball with the Thunder who were on their own b2b. Trust that the Warriors will be firing all cylinders tomorrow and the Blazers will be wayyy too tired to hang around down the stretch.
