A couple system bets coming up today, and I'm confident we'll be
able to close the series! Now, I want to take today to send you a
reminder about the importance of the injury filter. It's advisable
to check the starting lineup for your team to make sure that its
best player isn't sitting out. In today's example, a quick look at
http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/statistics will show that
Eric Bledsoe is the Phoenix Suns' best player.

A quick way to check on a team's injury status is to look them up
on Rotoworld. In Bledsoe's case, he can be viewed at:

http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nba/1734/eric-bledsoe

As you can see, Rotoworld reveals that Bledsoe has been recently
injured and sat out his last game, but he's likely to play today.
No guarantees, but his return is likely. It's advisable to wait
closer to gametime and check the most likely starting lineup at
nba.com to ensure that your risk in this game is limited. Keep in
mind that if your team's best player has recently been injured
(within the last 10 days) and will be out for the game, then the
betting series will be unofficial.

A system bet must clear all the filters of the system in order for
it to quality as an official play. This include the first week
filter, the injury filter, and the best/worst road record filter.

I just wanted to remind you of these filters because I care greatly
about your success James, and I always want to put you
in the best position possible to limit your betting risks in
situations that call for your greater attention.

I'm overwhelmingly confident that we'll have a tremendous year this
year as long as we bet by the guidelines of the system. Now, let's
keep this winning train's engine running! The bets for 11/22 are:

Chicago [B] bet (official play. Clears all the filters of the system)
Phoenix [A] bet (official only if Bledsoe plays. Check starting lineup)

Remember to bet on the point spread (handicap line)
- Remember to purchase 3 points for the team you're betting on.
- If your team is still a favorite after buying 3 points, then
you can either bet on the money line, or bet on the point spread
with the 3 points as normal, but do not continue betting on the
series if your team wins the game but the bet does not win
- Also consider the injury and the best/worst road team filters.
Check the injuries to ensure your team's best player isn't out.

As long as your team is able to cover the point spread, you'll
win your wager, regardless if they had won or lost the game.

Although I've posted the filter for the benefit of the JM Nation, I play the 1-7-5 variant. Phoenix is worth an A Bet even without Bledsoe. Chances are that he will be fit for the B bet anyway (bruised shin, apparently)

R u still backtesting or did I miss the results?

Yes, I completed the 9th year last night. Will try to get the last two done this weekend and post ALL results. Been so damn busy lately, doing half a season here and there when time freed up. But I think I will have a decent amount of time today and tomorrow to wrap it up. Also messing with a Chase 110 backtest, so any time I did have has been pretty much split between the two. You didn't miss anything, but I did state that I was playing ALL series to the end with no filters, even though backtest isn't complete. The no filter method is currently +43 units on the season. Because of a bonehead move on my part, I inadvertantly placed my Chicago 8 unit (B) bet in the morning and also again in the afternoon the other day, so lucky for me I won it twice. That coupled with a cheaper loss I took on New Orleans because of an overlapping play with Chase 110, which saved me 1 unit, I am up 52 units instead of the 43.
