I am confused a little bit. How do you buy points and can you do it on any website? For example, I use Bodog and can not find how you buy points.

Also can anyone tell me how this works really? I appreciate the help.

Me and a buddy was thinking about the system.

If we use JM system to win 1 of three road games.
How about also betting to lose 1 of 3, or bet on the team they are playing.
Buying the points both ways.
So in a series say you have Cleveland
on a road trip to Phoenix, Denver, and Utah,
the first game you bet for Cleveland plus buying points.
and you bet phoenix buy points. You could win both bets with one game.
so say Cleveland wins the bet.
You would then bet against Cleveland the rest of the Series using the chase system buying points.

I am not looking to change a working system, just trying to add more opportunities to make money.

I was thinking about it too i always saying: If You want to know You must try it we should try to look how many % you will win if you bet against but the system looks good, the win of BET A is 70-73% so its good in my opinion. but ofcourse it's good to try.

I don't think BoDog allows point buydowns. BetUs allows it as well as the Greek. I'm sure there are others out there.

The Kings were ommited because of their poor pre-season. It was not an official play.

I have questioned that also.
If we are looking for 3 consecutive cross conference road games and they play a road trip for 4,5,6,7 games in a row or what ever.
If the win game A on a 4 or 5 game trip they would still have 3 more games in a row. so could you bet that also.
If Jm takes a 6 game and makes it 3 and 3.
if the win games 1 or 2 could you make it a new series after the win as long as there is still 3 games left?

Again not trying to change the system that has worked great.
Just looking for more opportunities to win.
I;ll back track and see what that might of done this season.

The system is based on 3 consecutive games played @ the opposing conference. The system bet is that the team will win 1 of those 3 ATS. Once the team WINS it is OVER - Bottom Line. Until a brand new 3 game set presents itself.

glad i'm on the email list now as well then.

why? because the preseason is not about winning games - its about teams playing all of their players and getting them physically prepared for an 82 game season. most of the time in preseason, the good teams will have a poor record, and the bad teams a good record.

i think the detroit lions were undefeated this past preseason. lol

also - i myself will never play a team (in the chase system) thats on an extended long roadtrip. i love to naturally play against teams at the back end of a long trip. i'm always going to stick to the true first other conference game as my only "A" play.

If you place a straight bet on bodog, it looks like they only allow you to buy a half point, and only on certain games...after you pick a team and click continue but before you confirm and actually place the bet, under bet details there is an option you can click on...see it? (try for example the Orlando game tonight). I would suggest finding a different book since most let you buy at least two points and usually more....and also on parlays not just straight bets. Bodog has about the worst lines, usually has games circled that you can't parlay, rarely has money lines, and generally gives you the least betting options. Plus, bodog slowpays...only by check. Having said that, I like their poker site, but there are many other better options for sportsbooks, just check out the links at the top of this page. (Gets pat on the back from SBR staff )

Buying points is usually on a drop down box where you can buy up to just a couple points or as many as you want (like on 5 dimes).

The option to buy points is generally given after you chose your bet and amount but before you confirm the bet.

If you or anyone else is interested, I'll set it up at matchbook. This system is nothing more than one of many scams. If it's not a scam, I'm sure the "winners" would have no trouble matching my bet.

Justin - With all due respect you are taking away the sole purpose that I started threads on this system to begin with. I've been playing this system for many years now and I assure you i've been successful for well over 400 plays. My point all along is that this system puts forth an amazing "situation" that holds up well over 60% without even "doubling up" or "buying points".


You are absolutely CORRECT - If you follow any system "Blindly" you will get burnt. That's why we use "filters", etc.... How can you argue that the system - The way I've been playing it is 57 - 0? Last year I went 64 - 1 in Chase terms ... so, 64 - 16... The year before that 61 - 1 (61-16).

Perhaps, but this sysem at $100 profit per series win for the previous four years, excluding this year, would have made a bettor over $13K or a little over $3K per NBA Season.
