#73How much are you betting per series? Or the starting bet I should say. 5%?Originally posted by 50lipaGot an account for when i started with the JM system back mid december, i'm barely over 800$ now, started with 200$ tho, kept really low A bet all of the time. #82Hey just curious as to your method. I am using this system and am considering changing my strategy to buying 2 points as well. I have a few questions.Originally posted by dbartinbwgcBuying the points has never burned me.
The system says to buy 3 but I only buy 2 points.
Some games this season were close enough that without buying the points we would have lost.
What if you buy 2, but end up losing by 0.5 points? What do you do? Do you play the next game, where JM would have booked a win but you didn't?
If hypothetically you lost the "A game", and lost the "B game" by 0.5 points, are you playing the "C game" and risking an astronomical amount of units?
ThanksComment -

#85I would buy 3 points. The logic behind 3 points is that the home team usually is automatically given 3 points for home court advantage. I believe the books take this in consideration when posting the lines. Buying the 3 points should give you the true line of the team. The system does pretty good w/o buying the 3 points if you don't play past A. I think there was 4 total series games where if you did not buy the 3 points and continued to the B and C bets without buying the 3, you would of lose the whole series. That comes out to be quite a bit of money if you lose all 3 if you are a nickle player.Comment -

#86Would really matter on your bank roll Vincepcion and if you want to risk what you lost yesterday and what you want to win. Toronto lost the A bet last night and tonight is playing at Memphis. #88I am new to this, so could someone please review my math to make sure I have it correct:
If want to win $50 per chase and I am getting odds of -155 to buy the 2 points the following bet sizes are what is needed:
A bet: $77.50
B bet: $197.63
C bet: $503.95
That would put the total possible loss per chase at $779.05, so to break about even I would need to win 16 chases for every loss.
Do I have this right?
Thanks.Comment -

#90Yes card, but the system hasn't lost in a year now.
So that is EXACTLY why people skip plays like Toronto when a key player is out, altho on JM's official page it is listed as a play. It's due to get another loss sooner or later.Comment -

#91Thanks 50. I am a believer, just wanted to make sure I understood everything correctly. Unfortunately, I jumped on board last night and played Denver and Toronto without looking into injuries or anything. I think I am going to toss the Toronto chase and make sure I do a little research from now on before starting a new series.Originally posted by 50lipaYes card, but the system hasn't lost in a year now.

#103The logic is each half-point should cost more, but some books keep selling these for 10 cents each. If you can get 3 full points, or 6 half-points for 60 cents, this is almost ALWAYS better than playing a spread without point buying, where those points *should* cost 75 cents or so.Originally posted by Ditaln1I would buy 3 points. How much should 100 points cost? 1000? I would play any NBA team at -1100 with the spread +100 points. 3 points is the same problem, but to a lesser degree.Comment -
