OK fellas, I've been working on a new theory which applies to one game on today's card.

After going through every team's schedule this season (ughh..), I found that after a home & home series, teams are 9-14 ATS in their following game. It is important to note here that 5 of these 9 covers were by the Celtics, Magic, Cavaliers, Hornets and Jazz. These are the top teams in the NBA (the Lakers have not had a home and home yet this season). So excluding these teams, teams coming off a home and home are 4-13 ATS in their next game (Cavs also lost 1 so I took that off the loss column).

The Knicks are coming off a home and home against the Wizards. They fit the bill here. Now if you look even more in depth at this situation, you'll notice the Knicks are also on the tail end of a back2back. Teams coming off a home and home with 0 days rest before their next game are 1-4 ATS this season.

I posted last night that one of my early leans was Knicks 1Q but that the Sixers would most likely cover for the game because they are playing high quality basketball right now without Elton Brand. This new trend backs up my initial thoughts and I will be playing the 76ers tonight for one unit.

Any thoughts on this trend?

Okay boys, let's put aside our emotions and think this one thoroughly through before we make any further mistakes. San Antonio haven't been doing us any good lately, so why continue chasing after false hope?

A real difficult spot for east traveling Spurs. On Wednesday, they pulled out a major 112-111 win over the hated Lakers, then traveled to Philly last night and a date with the Sixers. Here, they show in an obvious back-to-back encounter.

More important, they go southwest, to east and then over to the midwest for Chicago in a negative traveling angle. Realize SA has been on the up-tick, but traveling and home court factors all favor feisty Bulls. With SA a recent 1-7 ATS without a day off, I'll back the points.

I'm in for Chicago this time around. Not making the same mistake I've been making all week.

I dont get upset over officiating to often but Pitt just got freakin robbed. There big man had to sit half the game and everytime they took him out they would give back 10 point leads. Half of Pitts team was in foul trouble in the first half and yes I know they turned the ball over but it shouldnt even of mattered.

ok, I;m back from a fun day doin "fun shopping tuff" with the girlfriend. Which basically means my day was horrible. I was even more bummed out to see that Northeastern didn't cover my 2nd jap-play, which puts me at a dismal 1-1. Oh well. back to tonight. I placed a small wager on pittsburgh + 2, which as Africanroller mentioned, the refs wanted louisville to win... I did manage to put a double wager on the boston bruin under 6, and lets hope that cashes, so I can pull a profit. The celtics killed it, which hedged my bet on northeastern...so far today is just ok.

I decided to not put money on the orlando over, and I have gone against the popluar bet and gone HEAVY on orlando. I agree with nonsense, and give him credit for swimming against the stream. Let's cash on this bet nonsense, and maybe move forward. I see everyone likes denver to cover, but how can it be? Orlando is incredible, and I don't buy into the whole mile high theory. Denver is hit or miss, whereas orlando has been hit lately. Nonsens, let's get some money on this game, and hopefully agree on some further picks to make money on!

I am also liking Marquette to cover, so I am taking the game, and marquette for the 1st half. (locked in)
