C'mon man...do you remember the Lakers pre Gasol? At best a 6th seed in the west...NO Gasol makes this a superb play IMO...GO Knicks

I hear ya, but my point was that I took the Knicks this afternoon before I had knowledge of Gasol being out for the game. That is why I said, "I like this play with or without Gasol." It didn't matter to me whether Gasol played or not. I was not saying he wasn't a big asset for the Lakers. In addition, if they lose this game it could be because Gasol is out, but if they don't cover it's because the Lakers don't cover - ever.

I think Lakers -11.5 is a smart play. I have the Knicks +15 for the game (under 224 as well) and I also took the Lakers -11 for the second half.
