I dont see any reason why the hawks will not get destroyed by the cavs today. Both teams are coming off games from last night. The spread at only -4 makes me think twice about it. Also, detroit at -1 is a good play at charlotte with a brand new team, regardless of how badly detroit has been doing against the spread.

I guess my analysis of the Lobos and Miss both playing UCF was pretty meaningless. I still dont see how 1 team beats a team by 32 and the other team loses to that team but the team that loses is crushing the other by 17 at the half.

As for the NBA, the Cavs are too hot to bet against right now. A good stat to justify playing the Hawks is that the Cavs haven't covered ATS when laying points, playing in ATL.

CK, I hate straight playing against you, but i have to take the nets today, although I'll probably shorten my money up a bit. They have only lost 3 games on the road, two w/o devon harris (indy and miami, both capable talented home squads) and in los angeles against the lakers, and come on... anyone can lose or get spanked by the lakers so that's not saying much. They have played well in back to back situations winning at atlanta, sacramento, phoenix, and philadelphia in back to back situations, the only thing impressive chicago has done at home imho is beat phoenix in the middle of their roadie, and beat dallas before dallas started playing well. the nets stock is low after their last few games and yet their was a half point line movement in their favor...

CTS5 , I have a decent size bet on Pistons -2 . I saw there last 2 games and it looks like AI is starting to find his rhythm, he had 17 points and 12 ast last game , also Rodney Stuckey had 21 points , along with Rip hamilton who had 28. DJ augustin is the only consistive offensive player ive seen on bobcats. if the pistons have atleast a decent night they should win by 8+ .im going on a limb and saying this will be there break out game and they will win by 15+. now alot of people are talking about how bobcats have more wins then the pistons but if they looked at the last 10 games ATS the bobcats won ATS only 1 of them were under 8.5 ! the spread tonight that i got is -2 , so im liking it , and because they have a few new players that are new to there system i like the pistons to win this one with ease .

The reason I'm laying off on the Pistons is because that team is in turmoil. This year's Pistons are not the same as the defensive Detroit team that made it to the playoffs last year. Keep in mind, this Pistons team is the same team that lost on the road by 12 points to the Knicks, and by 13 points to the Wizards two days later. Historically, Detroit owns the Bobcats, but both teams are so different now. Charlotte will be playing with their new team and I strongly believe that they haven't perfected their chemistry yet, but neither has Detroit. This game is a coin-flip. 86% of the public is on Detroit, yet there is RLM; moving from -1.5 to -1. Emotions aside, there's not enough irrefutable evidence to suggest that this is a strong play.
