I hope I'm not asking a stupid/repetitive question, but I feel it's important as money management is what kills most gamblers in the long run, especially those who depend on tailing others.

How many "units" is a $10,000 or $3000 play, or what % of your bankroll is it? Are these based on a $155,000 roll?

It depends on how much you have, and how much you like to bet. I recommend betting only 1% of your bankroll as a unit if you are just starting off. If you have $10000..you should play $100 a unit. IMO

I understand that, and personally bet 1% as a unit. The question I'm trying to ask is when he bets $10000, how many units is that for him.

For example, let's say that I assume his $3000 bet is one unit, so I bet 1 unit there and 3.3 units on the POD's, only to find out that $10000 is one unit for him and the $3000 is like a side bet. I would have 7 to 8 units in play instead of 2-3.

Hope that makes more sense.

alright so things not looking good so far........this game is an embarasement for the nba to be on tv...ratings will be a bust...channels will be changed...not a good look............I know the second half will be a turn for the better but we need a 50 point second

I locked in sac and Miami over too, parlayed with Miami spread. I figure more perimeter shooting than anything tonight. Portland can drop threes with miami
