Okay. Definitely not looking like the Player Props jive with me early. Thought the Duncan one looked real good, but he finished with 8. Sticking to 3 pt. props exclusively here for the next week or so. It's always my favorite any how. May start filtering player props back in after I see some form and maybe get a better clue.Comment -
PROP #8 [11.2.12] Hawks-Rockets Total Three Point Shots Made Over 12 [-115]
Outlined the Rockets the other day as a squad I thought would be a potentially more potent three point shooting team with the changes made. It took a bit to come to fruition in their opener against Detroit, but Houston finished with ten threes by game's end with Harden & Delfino lighting it up for nine of those. They took 27, a good # of attempts any day of the week. ATL is another team with a lot more three point potential with their changes. The makeover of this team now includes three point assassin Kyle Korver along with other potential bombers in Devin Harris, Anthony Tolliver, Lou Williams Anthony Morrow & Desean Stevenson. The Hawks are going more up tempo and weren't shy in shooting threes, something they did not do very much in 2011.Comment -

PROP #9 [11.2.12]: Warriors-Grizzlies Total Three Point Shots Made Over 10 [-120]
This just seems too low given the availability of shooters. Neither is a high volume three point shooting team, but Golden State hit 5/17 in their opener with four of those from Thompson. Curry was off, but took a good amount of threes. Throw in Barnes, Jack, Rush & Jefferson and you have a group capable of at least making a half dozen minimum if they put up close to 20 shots. The Grizz were a pathetic 2/14 against the Clippers. They do however have some good potential off the bench with Ellington, Pondexter and Bayless. Both were mostly ice cold in the opener. Throw in Conley, Allen and Gay and you have some capable guys. They aren't going to hit a ton, but I think they can add 4-5 per night.

You already know what I think of the Rockets' three point shooting. Portland looks to have enough to add a good boost every night to this prop. Lillard, Matthews & Batum are your major players from the starting rotation. Off the bench, Babbitt & Pavlovic can add a few more. Portland had nine in both games so far this season and if they are in that neighborhood again, this should get done.Comment -

Bovada isn't great for speedy payouts, but if you're a recreational bettor like most of us and can afford to wait a little for a payout if you're fortunate enough to get one ... they serve a purpose by providing props like this and ones again that do not get over juiced like the 5Dimes ones do.
