I think we'll be fine without the hook. I'm on Pacers +8 too, might have to look at a 1H play on them as well. Gotta think Heat come out slow with the long lay off. I have a hard time imagining this game going Over too. Good luck with the plays tomorrow.

Observation, Bovada is arguably the squarest book out there. Most of the time they are half a point higher than everyone else on totals. Today, they are half a point lower than everyone else on the Miami/Indy total with the juice on the over.

Yeah, that was interesting.

Not interested in totals anymore, but good observation. I still think it's a stretch to assume this game goes over.

I think the Heat cut down on their turnovers and handle their business after looking very rusty in Game 1. Pacers did just about all they could and blew it in Game 1. Period. We'll see if they have it in them to bounce back. I just don't see it. I think you'll see a focused effort from Miami, especially on the defensive end.

My take on the series is this: Indy is arguably better at every other position on the floor, but they have no answer for LeBron. He's the ultimate equalizer and then some. Pacers will still win at least a game or two -- I have it 4-2 Miami -- but I just don't think they're quite ready to get over the hump vs. this team, despite being much more well-rounded. This might be MIA's last year at the top, though, unless they can find more balance in their roster.

I also think you're going to see a much more concerted effort from LeBron on the defensive end vs. George tonight. George is an incredible young talent, but he's not as consistent mentally or physically as he needs to be yet.

Do you see how much love this board has for the Pacers tonight? Everyone seems to love an underdog going on the road against the defending champions, a team that hasn't lost more than three times in the last 48 games or whatever it is.

If I lose so be it. I don't back the Heat often because they're always a heavy favorite but I feel like this is a spot to do it. The Pacers had a chance to win in game win, blew their load, and still couldn't come out on top.

Don't get me wrong. I like Indiana. They have a very solid team, and are more well-rounded than Miami.

I just think that for this particular game, the Heat will come out much more focused -- especially on the defensive end -- and win by 10-12.

More complete team -- we all knew that. But they're the tougher team, too.

LeBron's going to have to have back surgery after carrying his team in these playoffs, because the rest of this roster is a joke.
